Okay so I did some tests...
Test Background in Public Match:
I wanted to test if I was actually doing my job as killer how long would the match last? And how long would it last if I was messing around and/or letting them do Generators.
On Badham Preschool I played as the Doctor.
I was going around shocking, blasting, and hitting all the survivors, trying my best (obviously only put pressure cause I suck at doctor to actually gain kills).
So heres what I found:
The match lasted: 11 Minutes 30 Seconds
Gen 1 Popped at: 1 Minute and 35 Seconds into the match.
Gen 2 Popped at: 3 Minutes and 51 seconds into the match.
Gen 3 Roughly popped at: 6 Minutes and 33 Seconds into the match.
Gen 4 Popped at: 8 Minutes and 4 seconds into the match.
And Lastly Gen 5 Popped at: 9 Minutes and 43 Seconds into the match.
Which means.. about every 2 Minutes a Gen popped because pressure was applied.
Now onto Crotus Penn Asylum as the Messing around and not caring Wraith:
This match surprised me. I was just a wraith messing around and boy... did the gens go by fast.
The match only lasted: 9 Minutes and 6 Seconds.
Now let's go to how long did it take gens to be done when the match started.
Gen 1 - 42 Seconds. (Into the match)
Gen 2 - 48 Seconds. (Into the match)
Gen 3 - 1 minute 55 Seconds (into the match)
Gen 4 - 2 Minutes 11 Seconds (into the match)
Gen 5 - 3 Minutes and 29 Seconds (into the match.
So roughly every... minute a gen was done. (Exept the first 2 gens which were done 6 seconds apart from each other).
So where did the last 6 Minutes come from you may ask? That's where I decided to apply a tiny bit of pressure to make them think NOED was my main go to. And it took them about 30 seconds after I downed a Claudette with NOED to cleanse the Totem.
So I decided to have fun and Slug the Claudette to see what they would do in that situation. To make them think imma keep slugging and camping. And it turns out they book it after the 3rd attempt at a save. (Even if the E.G.C timer isn't even half way yet.)
So pressure can hold the game to almost a solid 10 Minutes.
But Gen speed is WAYYYYY too fast. And they didn't even have tool boxes.
That was pretty much the test I wanted to try.
To see how long the killer can hold the game in his favor until the others either win or get sacrificed.
Hopefully this knowledge is beneficial because tbh it was fun to conduct the test.
