Thrill of the Hunt and a question it brings up.
So, Thrill of the Hunt has a unique mechanic where it has tokens for each totem still on the map that make totems take longer to cleanse and chase points fill faster. Now those effects are just kind of OK. However... The concept of a perk that makes each totem give the killer a minor buff is very interesting.
So my question is, why aren't there any other perks that use that mechanic?
That style of perk seems like it would be a good middle ground between normal perks and the high risk, high reward hex perks. Also that style of perk would function nicely as an avenue for giving killers with weak early games options for patching up those weaknesses in a way that is counterable but not super dependent on whether or not one of the survivors spawn next to the activated totem.
