Hex: Realism
Hold my beer. -The Entity
Both survivor and killer:
Chase music is disabled
All aura reading is disabled (yes, including killers view of gens and survivors view of hooked survivors to name a few)
All perks are disabled except Hex: Realism until conditions are met (see below)
Killer changes:
Visual audio cues are disabled for missed skillchecks and fast vaults.
Hearing ranges are increased for missed skillchecks, wounded survivors, vaulting, running, etc.
No scratch marks
Mori is Disabled while Hex: Realism is active.
Hex: Realism is the only perk the killer can take.
Cannot see the names, health states, or hook status of survivors unless they are in a chase. The exception is the obsession whose name and health state can be seen at all times.
No aura on hooked survivors (just to clarify)
Survivors being unhooked does not give a notification.
Killer stuff that stays the same:
Use of add-ons (keep in mind these do not trump the aura reading being disabled)
Killer power status/charge
Survivor changes:
All survivors are given Decisive Strike. If the survivor has Decisive Strike in their loadout already, it will regain it's charge once Hex: Realism ends. All other perks are disabled.
Hearing range of other hooked/injured survivors increased
Terror radius shrinks
No progress bar for gens
No charges bar for items
Cannot see names or health states of other survivors
Cannot see auras of survivors on hooks. Instead when a survivor is hooked, the other survivors will get a visual audio cue similar to what the killer normally sees for a missed skillcheck, giving them an indication of where the hooked person is. But no aura.
Cannot see most status effects (List is long but you can't be Oblivious and AWARE that you are Oblivious. Some statuses that you CAN know will be listed below)
Cannot see the light up effect of gates after final gen
No more red stain
Survivor things that stay the same:
Progress bar on healing and totems
Certain status effects: Hemmoraging, Mangled/Other "Worse wound" effects, Blind, Deaf, Insanity, Deep Wounds, Exhausted, Hindered. Keep in mind perks are disabled for killer too, so this will only occur from add-ons or the killer power itself.
All audio cues (Myers Tier transitions, the THUD sound of exposed, skillcheck warnings, heartbeat intensity, screams of survivors who are hit/downed, the sound of someone being hooked)** Listening and paying attention will give you all the info you need.
Hex: Realism isn't a normal hex clearly. To break it, all dull totems must be destroyed. Once broken, all survivors perks are returned to them and the game returns to normal. The killer (being that hex: Realism can only be taken by itself) will play the rest of the game without perks.
Welcome to the Fog.

I actually feel like this perk is way too powerful. Because you are disabling every single survivor perk. That in itself should tell you how powerful this perk is.
Because without perks, all 4 survivors combined are weaker than every base killer. And yes you can argue "Just be a good looper", no chase music means every footstep a survivor takes is one the killer can hear. So the killer has the upperhand there.
I feel like if this is indeed going to be brought i to the game. It should be a separate ganemode with LIMITED perk usage rather than completely banning them until every totem is gone.

I hear ya. It has downsides to killer too. Quite a few actually. He can't just glance at the map and patrol. He's gotta look. Hard. AND once the totems are broken, it's 16 perks vs 0 perks base killer.
It's an early game perk that will require skill on the killer side to capitalize. But yes. No dead hard or borrowed time. Perhaps we should disable scratch marks too... Hmmmm. Harder to see a hook save coming.

There we go. New changes.
No scratch marks
All survivors get 1 charge of DS during Hex: Realism to assist with tunneling potential.
This hex should be hard for both. But a new game mode would be cool too (probably without the free DS). This hex basically is a new game mode. But it sure is more realistic. And it sounds like fun to me.
