What's your best Dark Souls invasion story?

Before I played DBD I played a lot of Dark Souls, mostly 2 and 3. One of my most memorable invasions was in Dark Souls III at Archdragon peak.

I was using a Dragonslayer build (At the time it was Ornstein, but I later changed it so I could easily swap between him and Dragonslayer Armor) and I spawned at the second summoner's room. I watched the bridge from behind cover and realized I was dealing with a full gank squad (Knight Host, Wizard, Edgy Fallen Knight, and Dexboi if I remember correctly).

Knowing I stood no chance, I popped on a Dark Ring and waved at them. Thankfully, they seemed to buy it and kept moving. I followed from a safe distance. The host rang the bell, opening the boss room, but before they went in they went up the other path. I knew this would be my last chance to kill the host, so I stopped following them and took my ring off near the boss room. My plan was to reveal that I was an evil red spirit all along (gasp!) and attack the host at the last second, probably dying in the process.

However, I noticed that the host's friends were standing at the sidelines while the host was dealing with the enemies below. When his health got low, I seized the opportunity and dropped down. I used my spear's weapon art and landed a direct hit. He fell, and the wizard applauded me as I celebrated my triumphant victory. I had almost no chance of winning but against all odds I defeated the host.

So, fellow Dark Souls players, I'd like to hear your stories. Maybe I'll share more of mine if I can remember them, too.
