Deathslinger Buff Ideas

I might be late to the party but I finally have some time to think about the Deathslinger. At this moment I think he is one of the weakest killers right now so here's my idea : 

  • Hitting survivors with the harpoon shot can now injures them but cannot downs them if they're already injured. (Like Legion's Feral Frenzy, can injures but cannot downs) This mean survivors will guaranteed to get injured upon getting shot even if the killer release the chain. (aka M1'ing while survivor is being harpooned which is different from breaking the chain and receiving deep wound status effect.)
  • Chain can now be break much easier since survivors can now be one-shot-down. (Healthy -> get shot -> injured -> get dragged & hit - > downed)
  • Aiming the Redeemer now takes some time so that survivors have some little room to react. (1 second should be enough?)
  • Breaking the chain stuns Deathslinger a little bit longer but also don't give survivor on-hit-speedboost. 

This might sounds so strong on paper but it's not since it's harder to get a shot while window shot can be break by survivors much easier and the pallet shot is still a complete counter to him. (plus longer stun time) The long shot is also harder since it's hard to find the open area where survivor cannot find any environmental blockers to break the chain.

Now for the add-on, since one-shot-down is a thing for him now so expose add-on has to be adjusted too :

  • Iridescent Button : Hitting injured survivors from more than 12 meters with the Redeemer downs the injured survivors.

What do you guys think about this? These changes make him a little bit more powerful and give survivors more changes to counter him.

    no... he would just be a ranged billy at that point. Im all for buffing him but being able to go from injured to down with a single shoot is just too strong no matter how you look at it. Even if it was easy to break the chain the fact that if he gets close to you and lands his shoot or lands a shoot in the open would mean getting downed regardless of what you do.

    I would like his UR addon that instant downs people to be changed to this however because that addon kinda sucks for its rarity.
