Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Bad Killer Concepts: The Sentient

I have a bunch of purposefully terrible concepts for killers in dbd that would never make it into the game, but have some thought behind it if they were actually in the game.

I have been playing a frick ton of Warframe recently and I love sentients so it got my two braincells turning.

Lore:

The Entity is actually a broken, forgotten part of the Tau system (Similar to how Infested are to warframes), and has an internal link to some sentients. This explains why it is able to forge a Battalyst into its realm. Don't question how it even exists in a pre-orokin era. :)

Power: Consists of two parts, Adaptation, and Tau

Adaptation is a passive ability (affected by addons/perks) that increases resistance to almost all survivor v killer actions. The more it happens, the more resistance you gain. An example would be increased pallet stun reduction, or increased flashlight resistance.

Tau is basically what strengthens the Sentient over time. With a strong connection to the entity, It gains more and more power the more it hooks people. These powers would basically just be regular sentient powers: The laser disco ball (capable of hitting multiple people), the whirlwind attack Conculysts do (basically demogorgon shred), and other various things I can't really think of..

Any thoughts? lol
