BUGS - Bugs everywhere!
Recently @Almo stated that if Legion doesn't see generators aura while in Feral Frenzy it's a bug and should be posted in Bug Report. This made me think:
how many bugs we ALL know about, but maybe Devs don't? What is a bug and what is an intended behaviour?
So, here's my idea: let's create a mega thread with all the relevant bugs we know and encounter, plus what may be a bug or may be working as intended!
I will initially only add bugs that I encountered / saw with my eyes, but I'll edit this post to add any bug you report.
Legend
⚠️ - bug was never acknowledged as far as I'm aware of
‼️ - bug is acknowledged
✅ - bug apparently solved!
☑️ - not a bug, but intended
THE LIST
AUDIO
- ‼️ survivors in dying state don't make any sound
- ‼️ generators behind certain walls don't make any sound, or it is extremely muffled (just a few cm of difference in your position will change drastically the sound)
- ‼️ survivors steps are often inaudible during chases
- ‼️ survivors steps are often inaudible, period
FREDDY
- ⚠️ while being woken up, a survivor makes grunting sounds even if not injured / while using iron will
LEGION
- ‼️ Legion cannot see generators aura while Killer Instinct is active
- ☑️ Legion cannot see blood stains during Feral Frenzy
- ☑️ Legion can see only new scratch marks after Feral Frenzy fatigue is over (that's different from blood stains!)
- ‼️ Sometimes Legion can hear a survivor heartbeat, but it doesn't show on screen
WRAITH
- ‼️ If Wraith is burnt, he will visually uncloak, but be unable to hit survivors - he must cloak and uncloak before being able to do so
- ‼️ Sometimes the same thing happens once he's stunned
DOCTOR
- ☑️ Doctor can't increase madness of survivors in dying state through Static Blast
- ⚠️ Snap Out Of It: a survivor can snap out without getting skill checks if he stops snapping before the 25/50/75% and start snap-tapping it to get out of the trigger zone
- ⚠️ Snap Out Of It: sometimes there's a skill check audio cue, but the visual skill check doesn't appear
PLAGUE
- ‼️ Even if Plague hits a survivor with her vomit (the survivor makes the related animation), the survivor won't be infected anyway
TRAPPER
- ‼️ Trappers picked add-ons aren't saved when you restart the game / change the killer / do whoknowswhat
- ☑️ Traps move once a survivor triggers them
SURVIVORS
- ⚠️ When a survivor is completely healed, he/she will emit a brief grunting sound (not sure if this can be heard by anyone other than yourself, though)
- ⚠️ While healing with a med-kit and without self-care, if a skill-check is triggered and the med-kit is depleted before the player can hit the skillcheck, the survivor will suffer as if he/she failed it.
- ⚠️ A survivor can avoid AFK crows by simply making gestures
OTHER
- ‼️ (PS4) When the game ends, if you press on continue the game will start loading as normal, but after a (long) while instead of returning to the killer/survivor picker menu, it will throw you back to the end-lobby screen where you just were.
- ‼️ PC players can connect to PS4 dedicated servers
- ‼️ sometimes there are 1 second freezes while in-game (usually not more than once per trial)

Doctor; snap out of it skill checks don't appear at all. You get the sound notification, but it appears nowhere on the screen. On PS4, not sure if it occurs anywhere else

If you snap tap at the right time you never get the skill checks at 25-50-75%, maybe you refer to this?

Just to clarify, these are all intended. The Legion ones specifically were listed in the patch notes quite a while ago, even.
Other than those, these are all known and we've acknowledged them at some point in the past. Pretty soon we'll be changing the bug reports subforum to make it more obvious when we've seen an issue. The topic is exactly here to understand what is acknowledged, what is not and what is not a bug anyway, so thank you :).
I'll edit the first post to change icons accordingly.
P.S. I don't think you ever acknowledged that Legion old and new blood stains can be visible during fatigue of FF, but scratch marks can be seen only after FF fatigue, and only new ones.

It's like beating a dead horse. Do you think they care? All support tickets are instantly marked as solved and then most likely moved to trash bin.

@Peanits can I ask why there isn't an official thread like this pinned to the feedback section of the site? It would really help in showing what has been reported, what you have listed as intended, what is still unknown and what isn't reported
This guy even did an amazing job using icons to make it clear the status of each bug status.

it is already pointed out: Killer Instinct is active only after you hit someone with feral frenzy - I tried to be more concise, but you are absolutely right anyway.

See I only play legion a bit, I didn't understand the difference between frenzy and killer instinct. Oddly has anyone tested if you lose generator aura's when Ghost Face's Killer Instinct happens, It would be helpful for the devs to know if it is a legion specific issue or a Killer Instinct issue

To put it simply, because there's always going to be a new bug that gets discovered, and someone will always ask, "But what about ______? It's not on the list." This is why we're going to be switching over to a different way to show bug reports, so it'll be easy to see what the most reported issues are and whether or not we've seen them yet.

yeah but some are F.A.B. (frequently asked bugs :P). Wraith, Trapper, Legion, Audio... For example, you Devs explicitly stated that you are aware there are audio issues, and that some are related to animations, but this for example doesn't explain the generators muffling, hence we don't really know what you have acknowledged and what works exactly as you want. (well, now we know because you just answered, but still, when this topic will go in second page, we won't know again :P)
For example, I find it very useful when at the end of a Patch Note there's a reply by you that states "we are aware of this and that bug".

I don't tap, I hold it down because it's faster, but due to the skill checks not appearing, I have to tap. Only happened twice so far

When being woken up by a survivor against Freddy, you make sounds of pain while crouched even if you're not injured or when you're using Iron Will. Not sure if anyone else can hear it though.
