New killer perk - Greed Snare

Something along the lines of trapping treasure chests. I know they can be added or subtracted from a match due to offerings but if I'm not mistaken there are usually 2-3 scattered around the map not counting the basement ones. I think killers should get a perk to mess with them. Similar to Haunted Ground maybe the unlucky survivor will get the exposed effect or become injured by the booby trap chest. I just think it's time to look into chests since almost all other aspects of the map can be affected by killer perks or add-ons.

Probably would never be used, it seems really weak

I'm sure the devs could make it sound cooler and have a better usage. Was just an example of its potential.

I think that is a neat idea.

Maybe it could work like Iron Maiden. As soon as survivor is done searching a chest the killer gets a notification and they become exposed for 20-30 seconds.

When a survivor is searching a chest receive a notification and highlight the aura of the chest.

It wouldn't be a bad perk, not one of the best but I can see it having use.

There's a 50-50 chance the item doesn't spawn in the chest and the aura of the survivor is revealed to the killer for a few seconds

Well, there is an initial rush to get chests opened so it'd be really powerful in early game. Though I can imagine people not risking basement chest as that could lead to being trapped in there.
