I never understood the outright rage against keys until just now... I was playing as killer to do daily and rift and had an SWF team that had a couple gens left and I hooked one with a key. All on last hook and noticed the rescuer and hooked escaped from hatch which I closed and instantly the last survivor could escape through the exit? That's bullcrap.... Especially when they proceed to trash talk saying EZ and I am garbage because they got extremely lucky with the fact that because they got 2 out with key, last could leave out the exit.....wow

    It's the little pr*cks with no manners that tilt me. I can except the key, I don't like it, but I can except it. Then to call some names after escaping, they need to grow up. What they really need is for their mommy to lite their rear ends up because they are probably 11 years old.

    If someone uses a key, you gotta wait 30 seconds and then the hatch closes by itself. That way the gens remain the way they are.

    But it is indeed bs that it activates the egc if you close it.
