The Killers 'most to least negatively affected' by bad ping.

We don't live in a perfect world, transfer-rate of our internet, the ping of the people we get matched up with, the quality of the servers, the tick rate of the server in handling all our data, the distances in between all of us. A lot of the time we don't have full control of our experience playing online.


Going killer by killer who would you say is the most negatively affected by "iTs jUsT lAtEnCy bRuH" as the devs would say it?

    I would say they are all effected about the same.

    Having said that, the most noticeable discrepancies seem to be Huntress. As a survivor, her projectiles seem to hit where you were as opposed to where you are. Getting hit by a hatchet thrown last year is pretty frustrating.

    The least, I'll give to Trapper, because at least lag can't move his traps lol

    BTW this shouldn't be a problem. 14 years ago, I had DSL internet 755 kbps. I played Counter Strike Source and had 5-15 ping. 5-15 PING! 755 kbps! 14 years ago!

    Now I have 545 GBPS internet connection and the DBD severs, at best, only offer 33 ping... although it feels like 150 ping. Why in 2020 is this a thing?

    Please, BHVR, spend a few bucks and buy better servers <3

    All Killers are affected badly because M1 attacks' hitboxes are weird under bad ping.

    Hag, there's no competition here. Hag has a screen flicker that makes teleportation take longer, and this seems to be dependent on the ping of the person stepping on the trap, not the hag themselves.

    While all killers are badly affected, the Hag is the worst. Her traps become almost useless when your ping is over around 200.
