Does BT not trigger when playing against Freddy in dream state?
Just was playing a game, I had borrowed time, Freddy camped and I was in the dream state and the unhooked survivors didn't have the BT cooldown...

BT only works when in the killer's terror radius so Freddy's and Huntress' lullaby will not activate BT because you're not in a terror radius. I recommend waking up before saving if possible.

Mhm, ok, kind of stupid that you can have a Freddy right beside the hook camping and BT doesn't trigger. Waking up doesn't always help either, because if he hits you before you unhook you're in the dream state again. So you just spend too much time trying to wake up for basically no reward.

Stealth Killers just ignore BT all together, hence why they're considered a "hard counter" to something like BT escapes.
With Freddy, their Lullabies are not actually tied to their Terror Radius, they're considered an entirely different class of "Terror Radius", hence why BT doesn't work, since they're not technically a Terror Radius. It's kind of odd, but for Freddy it only really affects BT half of the time, since out of the Dream World it's a normal Terror Radius, but in it is a Lullaby. As for Huntress, It's not entirely that much of a counter when you realize how her Lullaby works.
As for Killers like Myers or GhostFace, they do indeed counter BT. The same goes for the perk Insidious, since you're not technically IN a Terror Radius due to it being masked by the perk itself.
