1st March 2020 - Hades

NEW THINGS - Dead By Daylight

New Killer - Chucky - The Doll

Chucky comes as a HARD tier Playable killer.

Low to the ground 1st person p.o.v. He has less movement base speed than the normal. (either by 25% - 50% - due to small stature)

Chucky is as tall as a crouching survivor.

Chucky gives off a doll like sound before being within his terror radius, the terror radius of which is set as a default 34 meters. (2 meters larger than average, due to his small stature).

When chucky downs and picks up survivors (in an attempt to hook them), he jumps on their back, stabbing them and controlling their movement towards the hook, putting point of view into 3rd person, turning away and jumping onto the hook when he has interacted with it. Survivors still have the means to "wiggle chucky" off their backs, and will animate grabbing chucky off their back and dropping him on the ground.

Power - Childsplay

Major Power - Similar to Micheal Myers or Ghostface, Chucky can lean left and right and feed a hatred meter while stalking, increasing his movement speed and field of view for each stage. The power has 3 stages, in stage 2, Successfully landing an attack on a survivor that would put the survivor in the injured state, afflicts the survivor with the Hindered status debuff, but also causing the landed hit animation to be longer than average. In the 3rd Stage, chucky can jump/climb directly onto a survivors back, as long as he is within an interactable distance (attack), passing the downing state, immediately controlling them. While in stage 3, and transporting the survivor to an available hook, the survivor cannot wiggle/struggle until the hatred meter has dropped below stage 3. (stages drop quickly, so players using chucky must be quick to approach/mount and hook survivors).

Minor power - Chucky can disassemble and re-assemble from one locker to another. To use this power, chucky can open and get into any locker, from there he can teleport to any other locker on the map by simply looking towards it and pressing the secondary ability key/button, and exit it. Auras of lockers are always revealed to him.

Chucky can teleport to lockers which house a survivor, instantly downing and mounting them, allowing him to move the survivor. Attempting to teleport causes a sound cue at the locker chucky is in, as well as the locker he is teleporting to. Survivors have the opportunity to lock the lockers temporarily, which takes the same amount of time and making the same noises as searching chests.. The locked locker cannot be teleported to. Auras of locked lockers are not revealed to chucky, however, they do give a visual and audio cue when they have been locked. If found, Chucky can unlock lockers survivors have locked.

Perks

1. Hide and Seek

The dark causes fear in the hidden. The Killer can see injured survivors that are hiding in lockers, revealed with a yellow aura, within a range of (?)meters, increasing grunt sounds made while in the locker.

Tier I - 14 meters

Tier II - 20 meters

Tier III - 26 meters

2. Hex: Love Hate

A Hex rooting its power on despair. Two Hex totems appear on the map. The Hex provides large regression decreases for each skill check missed and skill checks trigger more frequently for survivors until the Hex totem is cleansed. When a survivor cleanses the trap totem, the survivor is placed into the injured state and receives the broken status effect.

Tier I - 2% progression decrease

Tier II - 5% progression decrease

Tier III - 8% progression decrease

3. Friend till the End

You become obsessed with one survivor. Every time you are chasing the obsession for (?) second/s, reveal the aura of all other survivors further than (?)meters for the remainder of the chase. This perk persists after the chase has ended, either by having the survivor escape or downing them, for 3 second/s.

Tier I - 36 sec/s - 50 meters

Tier II - 30 sec/s - 40 meters

Tier III - 24 sec/s - 30 meters

Chucky should release with 2 survivors - Andy Barclay (Teen), and Nica Pierce

This was something I came up with, Behavior Interactive - Dead By Daylight, if you can't get chucky, make your own doll.

I quite like the idea. You have clearly thought about it well. But what if Chucky could ride his bicycle to travel around the map? That would be hilarious to watch. 😂 And then when he is stalking a survivor, if he gets to stage 2, you hear the bell of a bicycle. Letting the survivors know they are being stalked. Just an idea. You don’t have to use it as I already like the idea.

I like this Idea, but I think he should drag survivors who he stabs to the hook. I like how you planned this out! Nice job!
