How would you make the game more fun for the killers? (4K doesn't count)
I would personally rework the objectives for survivors to be more fair and fun for both sides :)
What about u guys?

i would probaply do the same.
add a secondary objective that is fun and interactive for the survivors (not the stale "hold M1 here then go and hold M1 there and finally hold M1 over there and escape") and also slows down the game - especially the eariy game.
as a killer i have a lot more fun to play this game when they dont pop 3 gens roughly 2 minutes in, because i feel like i can actually do something in that case.
the one thing i hate most right after early quits and toxic OoO players are dedicated genrush groups. ya know, these guys who do literally nothing but rush the gens and use their second chance perks to stall chases for as long as possible. like, when one gets unhooked, go and heal! but dont just instantly rush to a gen with your buddy and start working on that and still expect me not to go after you.
ive had games where ive been utterly destroyed by such groups (even when they played really bad), just because they rushed the gens and left in around 5 to 7 minutes and i had games where i punished exactly that behavior and killed them (those are the most stressfull games ive ever played btw - cause even if you hook someone and get into a chase, which you end immediately, afterwards, they still get 4 gens done with ease and its a real struggle to deny them the 5th one aswell).
and honestly, i cant call any of these games fun, no matter the outcome. they were just stressfull or straight up unfair.

Introduce new unique powers that change up how people play the game (deathslinger's power fits that bill).
Rework addons so that they change up gameplay, instead of just making certain elements of the power faster. E.g. Myers' addons (scratched mirror, vainity mirror, tombstone) are a great example; Freddy's fake pallets, nurse walking addons and scream addons.. I can't actually think of any others, but yeah, more things like that and less things like "recover your power faster"; "charge your power faster" and so on
Build in a practice mode where killers can practice using their power.

Limit the maximum size maps can be, make safe pallet loops not spawn consecutively next to each other and get rid of god loops

The ability to kill or get rid of the killer. If through some miracle the devs made that perfectly balanced and fair, mainly for killers since they're at risk of dying, then it would give survivors a second major objective, but at the cost that it would be extremely risky. It would have to be something all 4 survivors would have to do and it has to be situational and still very risky for survivors to do.

Lol f13 worded it that way, it’s so risky and unnecessary and hard to do. Next minute you have a 7 man party and insta kill him every game since the dedicated servers ruined his block counter as well.
if it’s luck doing it and actually results in much death than it’s pointless. But if it’s predictable and has set mechanics it’s f13 again. So don’t think so.

I just want killer to be less stressful and more rewarding, to not have my progress reset by a low skill or no skill second chance perk that has no counters, and to see maps reworked consistently and quickly. For how large this studio has gotten its amazing at how slow updates to things that other competitive games can fix in a month or two has not been done in the YEARS this game has been up and running.

Maybe introduce something like an equalizer. Since it's a 4vs1 situation, at the beginning it would be in the Killer's favor, but gradually as Survivors lose their hook stages, the equalizer slowly tips in their favor. So the Killer would start out superior and then balance out when about 8 hooks have been accomplished.
This can vary from buff to debuff, don't want to get specific, otherwise people might claw yer eyes out.
And it would have some Lore to it, too. Like the Entity wants to feed on all the emotions and wants to make it 'fair', because that allows for the tastiest meals in the trial. By starting off with a strong Killer and slowly balancing it out, the survivors grow hope since they feel like they might have a chance.

I made a thread with a suggestion on balancing Gen Speeds. I think if they at least gave it or a similar method a try, more Killer's might find it to be a more enjoyable experience. Even with the huge maps being an issue imo, this should resolve it.

One idea I have is that they should decrease how fast it takes to complete a gen, like reduce 25% of normal gen speed, or something in those line but thats just my opinon I mostly jsut create fan made killers/ survivors/chapters.

All survivors should start the trial in the dying state.

Jokes aside I cannot think of a good way to buff killers and refuse to think of a new objective until the new chapter (And toolbox nerf) goes live.
