Xbox Matchmaking

Playing solo but this has been an all day thing today. Constantly getting matched with Killers in ranks much, much lower than me. I think I've only had 2 red rank killers all day long. At this point I'm starting to feel bad because some of these killers don't really know how to loop effectively and it shows.

Sorry for the camera phone picture, I wanted to try to hide the gamertags of the other players as best as I could

Honestly I've never noticed it till today. I've always heard the complaints but man, this is really bad.

Hate to break it to you bud, but we PC gamers are getting just as boned as you are.

this has been an issue on all platforms not just Xbox. In fact, it’s been like this for months (Yes even on Xbox).

the reason you may have just started noticing it more is probably because:

1.) You haven’t been in Red ranks very long, this is actually the norm for Red rank survivors.

2.) The Rank reset bug - set people back further so as you quickly made it up to red ranks there were some competitive killers around still.

3.) Killer mains only play to finish the Tome and either stop and switch to survivor or to play something else completely, hence the lack of high rank killers.

Might be a combination of one or more though. I’m leaning more towards killers don’t play as much though.

    Here's one I just had.

I was rank 8 and went up against high red ranks with Extremely crutch and broken perks.

I wouldn't have minded if they didn't try to troll so much with their clicky flashlights, tea bagging and infinite abuse.

Apparently I'm really bad as killer because I played a match as legion and couldn't kill everyone in a few seconds.

Because they got beat they said I was lagswitching. They spammed me party invites for about 10 minutes nonstop until I finally blocked them. Not to mention the expected "trash talk" telling me I'm a baby killer, I got looped for days, I'm bad, I'm dirty etc.

This is one of the many reasons why Xbox needs dedicated servers back up. So pieces of work like this would have no excuse, no valid accusation of cheating to throw at whoever beats them.

I was that mad I only gave 1/5 on 'Did you have fun?' I was fuming. I won even with relatively bad perks though, says a lot about red rank survivors.

Man I'm sorry you had to go through with that post game abuse. I know it sounds lame but I have never gone out of my way to harass a killer/ survivor who has beaten me. I literally do not see the point in it.

They lost and no amount of childish acts can change that.

I mean I do normally float in high purple/ low red but outside I just can't ever remember seeing this main lower rank killers. I really hope j do see higher rank killers tomorrow when I hope on

I actually like it cause it makes it funnier at the end of the game when I see that I just rolled red ranks and they're the ones sending me salty messages cause they died.

That happened to me today, too (the constant party invites). It was two of them that kept spamming me party invites and I believe they also d/c'ed from the game as well. It's sad, really. I've never seen a player base that's as toxic as this one.

It's honestly almost as bad as Siege's community. I don't get how anyone can let a game get to em like this

Yea that's what kept me from buying Siege recently. I was reading all the reviews and it was all "toxic community, toxic, team killing, toxic, community is toxic" and I was like nah I deal with that enough from DbD.
