I NEVER camp but... This made me do it...
Rank 1 trapper main, xbox, using Spirit with green addons for speed in Lery's cause I had a challenge, a P3 Quentin brings in a key, and 3 survivors bring in toolboxes, don't get me wrong, I'm not against keys nor toolboxes, but of course I'm gonna play smart and keep him (the key guy) away from hatch.
I play normally, no camping, no tunneling, BW, Discordance, BBQ and Rancor
I manage to hook everyone twice, but Quentin is nowhere around, 3 gens have been done, I sacrifice my first victim. YES! There's quentin!, I hook him, the 4th gen pops (I don't mind gen rush, this is just part of the story and I can get my 4 kills even with all gens done, don't even start please...) and guess what? Hatch spawns right NEXT to the hooked Quentin, NOT CLOSE, NEXT, like, less than a meter away from the hooked Quentin with a key. OF COURSE I CAMPED HIM! It ended up in a 4k cause the other 2 survivors swarmed the hook and I grabbed them both in the unhook animation.

Quentin: Camper! You don't deserve to be a rank 1
Me: Actually... Using my brain to get a 4k is what got me to rank 1... The hatch spawned literally to your right, what did you expect me to do? Go away for someone to unhook you and give away 2 or 3 kills? I knew you had a key btw.
Quentin: Say whatever you want to feel good about yourself, I went to your YT channel (my GT is Carlosylu YT) and disliked all your videos whyle I was on hook btw.

Quentin: You actually think I'm mad cause I had a key and couldn't use it, that's not the problem, you camped, if you had left and one of my friends had unhooked me I wouldn't have opened the hatch for us to escape just cause you were being nice not tunneling or camping the whole match
Me: So... You're telling me you brought in a key to not use the key? Sure...
Quentin: You're just one of the people who makes this game more toxic

Seem he was a bit of a poor sport. I also don't camp or tunnel, however I am not going to be a complete fool about it either. There are situations where it is the smartest option. And for me if you bring in a key, I will notice, and as the game winds down, I will ensure you don't get to use it.

Aside from the weird perk choice, there's nothing really to say about that mate. Survivors want killers to play fair, but they never want to do the same. You'll always get this sorta hatemail. That, and you were playing Spirit, they all seem to have extra hate for her, for some reason.
You can use a keyboard on Xbox, but using a controller isn't that hard either. And these messages had to have been within their own private messages as console doesn't have the post-game lobby chat, meaning he had plenty of time to type.

I am OP with Spirit even without perks, so, I use half build for locating survs (Discordance and BBQ) and half build for end game (Rancor + Blood Warden)

Yep, I forgot to mention he said he brought a key cause of a challenge, funny thing is I don't have a problem with keys, they just make me more aware of the decisions I make in game

I don't think the game would allow you to camp if it wasn't encouraged by certain builds/perks.
Which is why now, even tho I don't like it, I accept it. It's part of the game, just as taking a hit for someone else as a survivor is. Annoying as killer but I accept it.
I think playing killer or survivor should feel like there are no rules. You are trying to play a role.

I remember once when I went to the other side of the map before as Michael, btw this was when Feng was right next to an exit hooked, exit was open, and was told I was a camper

Sounds like another salty survivor main. I think half the toxicity of these forums can be eliminated if people stop for a second and ask themselves "What would I have done in that position?"

It's just an unfortunate situation. If you don't camp in that instance, then you're essentially throwing the game. I've done the same in the same spot. I was Wraith on Coldwind Farm and, while chasing the key holder, we ran into the hatch.
Whenever I bring a key, which is basically only for tome challenges, I accept the fact that I'm putting a target on my back, because it's an item that skews the balance of the game. It's obvious that I can entice an 'unbalanced' reaction in return. I guess Quentin didn't get the memo.

Never camp? There are always games were you have to camp to get a kill. And with Bubba you can often get all of them by camping one and get the others to come to you, because they don't know any better. And then game over for them.

Xbox has predictive text that gives you multiple selections to use. Presumably for this very reason. Survs write whole paragraphs this way when they are salty.

I mean, there are situations where they force me to tunnel to get them pressure, just like there are situations where they force me to stay right next to the hook because they are swarming it...

Why people are so lucky. I once as Survivor in Lery vs Huntress where Im the last one. You know what? Hatch spawn exact the same place as DC Clau. Which cause the hatch didnt appear (but still able to hear the sound). I had no choice but ask Huntress to hook me.

Your right when I play killer I don't do any of that but when I do Survivors pull this (Bad word) on me and laugh and make me feel bad about myself at end chat, and when I get a 4k they cuss me out even into my Steam chat, and when I play survivor I do kinda get mad at killer when he camps, tunnels, and so forth but do I blame him? No its just the current state of the game and it needs to be fixed, and soon.

How has no one mentioned that Xbox has an entire mobile app that allows you to do everything from your phone? Heck you can even accept party invites through the app and listen/talk to the party from your phone. You can also use your phone as a remote for media and such.
I reply to all messages through the app. It makes it easier to send the "Need more salt" pics to people.

I would have done the same. Why would you just hand somebody the win so easily? If they want easy escapes, they should think about playing another game. People seem to think that camping / tunnelling = toxic, but it isn’t always that black and white. There’s times when it feels necessary. I don’t think you did anything wrong and honestly who cares. It’s a game. The fact people get so worked up over it really makes me laugh. This is why I have my PS4 messages turned off. I ain’t interested. 😂

To the streamer with self-described "big hands", tell your teammates that if you don't repeatedly swarm around the basement to save your teammate, I won't have to repeatedly fake leaving the Killer shack by turning off my TR. :P Being overly altruistic even after you've made your intentions clear is a good way to lose the game.

Ok wise guy, in case you haven't noticed, someone is telling a story about him camping, and the survivor being a salty baby over it, much like you are right now.
If you don't care, then why are you here? I'll tell you why, it's because entitled (BLEEP) like you crave for attention, and you post "who cares" like a mindless idiot who thinks whatever the heck they're doing will get people to like you, but in the end, you're simply a single man wondering why a woman won't get with you by insulting them.
So if I were you, I would think very carefully about the things you're about to post before you do so, as it's pretty clear that other people are commenting here, as they do care. But just because they aren't talking about something you aren't interested in, (which, again, why are you here in the first place.) then that doesn't mean that the post is pointless to every single person in the world, you attention-craving (BLEEP).

This is why when I meet people like that I block, and the next time I see them again I leave in the loading screen = waste time + game canceled. No penalty.😀

No dude, if someone had unhooked the key holder right next to me I would've just closed the hatch after the 1st escape, the problem there would've been if I had gone away, then 2+ would've escaped.
I'll give you a tip, if someone has a key, he's followed by his teammates, and opens the hatch right next to you, don't panic and close the hatch to get the others, remember killer has priority in closing the hatch over survivors jumping in. Example:

Seeing babies cry over stuff like this makes me smile lol it's like some survivors legitimately don't understand how to play killer.
People complain about this game being unbalanced but when you face people like that you understand why the devs have to balance it the way they have. 99% of this game its balanced, only the smart 1% is why the game can be unbalanced.

The lack empathy and are not able to put themselves in another persons' shoes.
Any normal killer prolly would have done the same. If they unhook the guy with the key while the killer is away they unlock the hatch and at least two get out.
But this is jsut another reason not to even bother with end game chat. I dont. I stopped reading a long long long time ago. If they do good they get mouthy. If they do bad they get mouthy. Either way they get mouthy. Just not worth my time or effort.

A lot of them that do that seriously under estimate the killers' skill level. They might thinck that they are feeble and can be bullied but it is in my experience that if i see them swarming around the shack which is in the middle of the map i am not leaving it. I get one hit before they get to teh stairs. If they are dumb enough to go down it will be them on the floor and most likely the guy on the hook will be slugged jsut outside the shack

It's the sort of thing where if you just WAIT a bit for the Killer to think you've left, they might, y'know, ACTUALLY LEAVE. Instead of the Killer just stepping back inside only to find someone still there going for a rescue (or at the very least scratch marks headed into the basement).

Once they are asleep they cant see me anyway and i can almost safely leave the shack to patrol for those pesky things that want attention.
In a lot of cases its the survs who are responsible for the killer camping. We are not blind

You're taking this GAME way too seriously. A killer's job is to, ya know, kill. Taking a key into a match puts a huge target on your back as you can essentially give you and your teammates an easy escape. You know the risks when taking in a key. Don't like it? Don't take in a key. I play extremely fair, but ultimately it's my job to make sure nobody escapes. I often give the last survivor the hatch if they've played well, but if I have you on the hook near the hatch and you have a key, you're not getting off it. Period.
