Do you still disconnect?

Although it got a lot less, I still see some people DC (mostly survivors, only had one killer DC ever since the penalties were enabled on PS4).

I‘m curious, do you fellow people of the fog still DC from time to time? And if so, what’s the reason behind it or why do you think people still do it? Not judging anyone, just want to know.

I started doing it a fair bit recently and will continue I'm not gonna sit there while I get camped or have killers tunnel me since I'm gonna die anyway I'll gladly take my dc penalty and make them lose the points

I dced one game as killer. I ran across the map to see a gen done already. Pretty sure it was full swf. Proceeded to chase a guy in circles while the other 3 were sprinting off to find their next gen and just said nope and quit the game.

Of course. This game has a tendency to ######### itself here and there so sometimes I'm forced to leave. Just yesterday I had a bug where I loaded into a game without the ability to vault, see any UI or prompts or do any interaction. So when stuff like this happens, i will DC.

DCed two times since the Penalty was enabled, which is way more than the weeks before the Penalty.

One time because I had to go and one time while I was playing as Nurse, one Survivor got bugged on the Hook (apparently he was on the ground, but he was frozen in the screaming animation on the Hook), which resulted in me not being able to blink anymore.

When 3 gens pop after I down someone, then the fourth pops shortly after I hook them, I'm out... That's complete BS and a clear example of how fast the gens CAN go. Sorry, but I have ZERO chance at that point, and I'm not sticking around to be your punching bag.

If I mess up at the start as killer and a gen gets done before i see anyone I'll DC or go afk as I'd rather get a 5 minute ban than play properly especially if it's a large map

I've had matches where I want too, but no. If I really feel like it's a lost cause, I'll just stand by the gate and let them out when gens pop.

I'll never DC unless a gamebreaking bug is involved or if an IRL situation mandates that I step away from the game for a period of time.

I didnt DC to begin with....so....

If an irl issue came up that couldnt wait, yeah I'd "DC". But this DC out of spite or rage quitting nonsense? Oh no.

    yes

huntress on Temple, Haddonfield, lerys, the game, Hawkins, rotten fields

id rather have a dc ban than to suffer trying to play as her on a garbage map

You mean as opposed to trying to improve your skills in a less than optimal situation?

    never did.

the only times i actually DC would be the ones where i have a good reason to (e.g. gamebreaking bugs, hackers, game held hostage or real life problems)

Ah, someone who doesn’t play huntress

Ive mained her for years. I urge you to play her at red ranks on any of those maps

you will want to off yourself after it

I will if I am facing an extremely toxic SWF team. Then take a break from the game for a day. Like moderately toxic is fine, if they play so bad I get 1-2 kills anways, but if they are obviously a 4 man swf, exchanging body blocks, completeing gens at opposites ends 100% of the time where I can't even travel the distance to have a chance to stop them. Perfectly coordinated hook saves. Constant flashlight spam/saves, teabagging - you know the whole 9 yards. That 1 in a 100 game. I just DC, and go offline for the day (play survivor with a/my friend(s) later), because I know that as a red rank killer. I was the only killer they were going to get for the next half an hour in que. They can bully some purple/green rank instead.

Aww someone who assumes what others do and dont do.

I rotate every killer (except nurse), and get ######### maps too.

Oni or hillbilly on The Game and Lerys? Absolute #########. But I play it.

Meyers or Clown at the Farm? Hell, but I play it.

If you only play in optimal circumstances, how will you ever learn to get better instead of just maintaining?

  • BigTimeGamer
    BigTimeGamer Member Posts: 1,752

There is no “learning” her on Lerys

there is hoping that the survivors are pototos, there is nothing you can do except hold W as they can bank a corner every second

but nice try telling me how to play this game

Hey now. I like playing Clown on Farm. Not many things to get in the way of my bottles. I'm a pretty good throw so, I can throw them pretty accurately at their max distance. Hook someone, and then YEET!

Now Clown on Red Forest. 😫Ugh

The only time Its right to DC is when you either 1. have something going on irl or 2. a glitch has happened .
