but why do i depip as killer for 2k and dead survivors pip?
I know rank doesnt matter, but thats the only indicator we have. Pip = you played good double Pip = you totally won dude.
So if the goal is 2k 2esc. The goal is that the killer loses every game? XD

Cause devs don't take into account your Gatekeeper emblem getting destroyed by gen rush in the meantime.

Kills doesnt tell anything about how good you were unless its 3 kills or 4 kills which is win.

For the record, we aren't aiming to make every game end in 2-2. This is just an average. You might do better in some games and worse in others.
You can safety pip with only two kills if you played well enough. If you struggled and just barely got them (by camping, for instance), you'd probably depip.
We actually made a change to Gatekeeper at the same time to compensate, conveniently enough.

That still says nothing - killer could of gone against a pack of potatoes and 4k or just cheesed an ebony mori, or by the same token they could of hooked everyone twice against a crack SWF team applying good pressure all the way and get 0k.

Yes it happens that killer may get 0 kills when played good but he would definitely pip in that case.

Sacrifice emblem is very bipolar. For 2k you don't get even 50%, you also have to hook everybody else at least once. I. e. in order to score 1/2 of that emblem you have to do 2/3 of the job. And no further hooks count. Even if you hook all 4 survs once, it's only 10 of the emblem. Instead of devotion, hook states count towards brutality emblem and score only two points (each hit scores 1 to compare).
To get a black pip you should get gold in everything in red ranks, it means with 2k you have to practically almost kill everybody, and 2k is VERY close to 4k in amount of effort you have to apply.

Still in relation to survivors its not fair. You still can manage to safety pip with 2 kills if you did well is just too less of a statement compared to a survivor who pips and died. And honestly no one ever cared about gatekeeper.

A major issue here is that the ranking system considers 1-shotting players as "struggling". Plague's broken status, as well as many perks and powers that deal 2 damage or apply exposed, are treated as a single hit, and provide very small gains to the Chaser and Malicious emblems, while Legion can realistically pip without hooking survivors at all because of the very large numbers of hits, short chases, and deep wound hits on injured survivors.
The ranking system also makes no consideration for what a killer (or survivors) are up against. A Key, Mori, and other items and killer add-ons will have drastic changes on a game.

Run the killer for a short while

Gatekeeper is how many gens are done or not done? Trying to stop gens is so pointless. Maybe if they greatly increased the damage kicking them did it would matter, but until your down to 1 gen left, kicking is a waste of time.

- Forced to eat DS.
- Forced to drop survivors due to bodyblocking, pallet stuns, flashlight saves, or simply 99% sabo hooks (which will be able to be done by a solo survivor when the sabo changes comes. Yay having the god like power of controlling the killer's entire objective!)
- When survivors heal at the opposite end of the map, while you have to patrol the few gen's that if you go to the other end of the massive map, you will immeidatly lose the gen and any chances you had at getting any sacrifices.
- Survivors keep chases around a hooked survivor or bum rushes you the moment you hook survivors.
- Patrolling the last few gen's, and you are constantly passing a hooked survivor because it's best to hook a survivor near the last of the generators.
But yeah, sum up all of the problems with the broken emblem system into the worst kind of assumption as "Eh, they were probably camping". In my opinion, the survivors shouldn't have this much control over the Killer's emblem system, and at the same time the Killer shouldn't be getting penalized in three emblems because of factors well out of their control. Like I expect to be rewarded for doing well, not punished.

It's really unlikely to pip with 0 kills - unless you farmed or completely dominated to the point that hardly any gens got done, then decided to just mess with the survivors and let them go. Killers need to trade their loss in Gatekeeper for Devout at a strong pace. Zero kills mean Bronze at best for Devout I believe.

Just because you say something is "irrelevant" doesn't make it so. Killers are punished when they outclass the survivors. This is a fact. If you know you're better than your opponents you have to prolong the game just to make sure you safety pip.

I was wrong . If killer was doing that many chases its impossible for him to end up with zero kills. Usually its one
