What if there was a sliding difficulty scale that would increase or decrease bloodpoint payouts?
Since there’s a lot of anger with long wait times and uneven matchups, what if there was a sliding scale of difficulty that would adjust bloodpoint payout?
A killer could create a match where survivors can’t bring any items and as a trade off, survivors would get a bloodpoint multiplier in that match or vise versa, killer’s can’t use add-one and will get a bonus. Each side could also set a rank range. The opponents could be within a range either similar rank or better, and the side at worse rank would get a multiplier.
Instead of just dropping into a lobby, each side could see a list of available lobby’s each noting the restrictions and either choose to join or create their own?
If a killer is having a hard time and just wants an easier match for fun, they can offer a no items match and accept a lower bloodpoint payout while survivors would be getting a bonus?
I think there are a lot of survivor and killer mains that don’t play the opposite side because they’re not great or don’t want the sharp learning curve and this could alleviate it. Alternatively, if you aren’t worried about bloodpoints and just want a “fun game” you can make it a bit easier at the cost of bloodpoints.
