Delete silver line of end game collapse
why was add silver line?for what? for example CS GO terrorists plant bomb and it will explosive after 40 sec. but where u see if will 1 counter terrorist then bomb will explosive after 80 sec because CT now alone??? I think EGC time must be only 1 only golden line.Golden line its 2 min...2 min survivors can run 3 times around map.Especially survivors not like run after open gate and they have time to unhook teammate. If will golden line only survivors will play careful...
Ur thought?

I am sorry but... what?
If I understood you correctly you want EGC to only last 2 minutes, is that correct?
When playing Survivor, EGC sometimes stresses me out as it is. I don't think it needs to be shorter.
1 -
@Codela yea u right.only 2 mins because 4 mins its again second chance.survivors must pay for mistakes and bad not careful game
1 -
Meh, if I am the only one surviving because I was matched with 3 potatoes, why should I pay for their mistakes?
Besides, for me it only happens rarely that I get to open one of the exit gates once EGC has begun. I guess its 1-2 out of 10 times that I actually get to open them.
How about the others?

EGC is fine where it is. It's one of the only things balanced.
9 -
EGC is fine, also that it slows down. Not slowing down would make Saves WAY too hard. And in the end, EGC does not exist to give the Killer some ez Kills, it does exist to force the Survivors out so that some "funny guys" are not crouching around the Map, taking the game hostage.
10 -
Wait wait...EGC isn't 2 minutes already?
0 -
@Aven_Fallen u cant unhook and run for 2 mins?i think u can and if ur teammate can pay for mistakes which he was catched
0 -
@LordEmrich no if all survivors not hook and not lie on ground collapse 2 min if 1 survivor lie on ground or on hook collapse will 4 min
0 -
Jesus! Yea that's way too long. It should be 2 minutes period. I honestly would prefer it be 1 minute so we can just get on with the next game.

The EGC is not designed to give the killer kills or put pressure on the survivors, it's designed to stop the game from being held hostage. That's why it slows down when there are still things to be done (heals, hook rescues, etc.) because it's supposed to be forgiving - it is not and never was meant to make surviving harder.

Yeah, it hurts trying to read your post. What kind of english is this
1 -
The not great kind, but that's okay. English isn't everyone's first language, and it's very difficult to learn, so there's no need to put people down for trying. If you don't understand the post, you don't have to respond to it.
4 -
Not really.
The EGC was added to save time and end matches, not be a "kill the survivors" timer.
It slows when someone is downed or hooked so that theres a chance to save them. Otherwise survivors would see noed, say ,"well weve only got 2 minites" and simply leave their teammate.

But you're not okay with the fact that it always ends in 3 or 4 max? When the other option with no EGC is 45 minutes of nothing because someone WANTS to waste time?
1 -
"Should I pay for their mistakes?"
Yes. Like it or not, you are a team. You win together, you get uncorked together.

DbD is not CSGO.
0 -
Nah, I don't agree with that. It's survival of the fittest for me.
0 -
Yep. It's why there's no voice chat and solo perks exist. You CAN be a team. But at the end of the day it's about you.
0 -
Exactly. And if I deem unworthy to unhook someone because it might play just into the killer's hands, I won't do it. And if I reckon my teammates to be potatoes and unhook me unsafely without BT and/or doing other potato-worthy stuff, I sure as hell won't even bother wasting a single thought about playing as a team.

I'm sorry, can you rephrase it all? I understood nothing from that post.
Can someone help?

EGC was and still is, meant as a quality of life change for killers. The intended effect is to prevent survivors holding the game hostage, which is why the killer can force open the gates. If your goal is to get kills during EGC, I recommend running Bloodwarden, NOED, Remember Me, and Save The Best For Last.

I'm hearing advisement to 'only play in full SWF' here...

I'm assuming you meant to say that the EGC should not slow down when someone is downed or hooked? In that case, no, that's not the intention behind the EGC. It's meant to force people out at the end of the match when there's nothing left to be done, not force them to leave someone on the hook because there's not enough time to save them.
6 -
This. Yeah it makes my hair hurt. I am not even 100% what he is trying to say. Basically the EGC is fine as is.

Why not, though? Why can't survivors ever be allowed to be put into a stressful situation? Why is it that there must be so many second chances for survivors' mistakes? The closest killers have is NOED and that isn't even confirmed if survivors break totems. Meanwhile, no matter what, survivors WILL get Adrenaline, or Borrowed Time, or Decisive Strike. Of course, you can say, "just wait out Decisive", but they will just go in a locker and I have now lost potential pressure. Or "chase the savior" Okay fine, now the person with DS is on a gen and I have again lost pressure. Did the survivor make a mistake at a loop or Mind-game? Don't worry, Dead Hard is here to save the day. Borrowed Time rewards poorly planned hook saves and allows survivors to probably just get Deliverance for free, which again, is another perk that punishes the killer for allowing people to get saves, and reduces his pressure. Survivors already have their most powerful tool: the camera. Utilizing the camera well can shut down almost any mind-game in existence. I also noticed that many survivor perks have synergy with each other, meanwhile, killers' perks do not. The only I can think of is Enduring and Spirit Fury, or Surveillance and Ruin.
I find playing survivor is probably the most easy and boring thing to do right now. The solution BHVR has to "fix" the game is that they are going to add breakable walls? That isn't the problem. The problem is that killers have no time to do anything. Chasing isn't the issue, it's the map size and gen speeds.

@Peanits but golden line (2 min) will do same :D and of course its could to force survivors play careful...its horror game and horror game not must give more chances because danger not wait, danger will attack :D u can make EGC more interesting and exciting "what choose survivor? help who was catch or run" :D ... but thanks for answer :D have a nice day

No, because that's 3 or 4 minutes I gotta wait for Survivors to finish dicking around in the exit gates before they decide to leave with 5 seconds left. Yea it's better than before the EGC when I had to go watch TV while I wait for the last troll to finally get bored and leave but it's still too long at 2 minutes. 1 minute is all you need to GTFO so we can move on and play the next game.
If the gates are open then there's nothing left to be done. You won, the gates are open, you're free to go home now. You're gonna stick around and die cause someone is on the hook? It needs to be 2 minutes maximum, period.
0 -
That's excessive. EGC is fine as is.
0 -
Like someone said, EGC exists only to stop Survivors from taking the game hostage by hiding in a corner and to get rid of Hatch showdowns. Its not there to give you free kills.
0 -
The broken english makes it hard too understand you, but I think your point is too remove the timer delay when someone is downed and hooked.
If this is the case then hell no. Survivors need that delayed time too save people, plus If the killer has Bloodwarden he could just camp on the survivor till 1 minute then hook them and get a guaranteed 4k. It's not fair for survivors. If you want EGC too end faster then open the exit gates yourself. If the light on a gate is already at 3, then just open it too force pressure on survivors.

If all this is true, and I believe it is, how come they nerfed Remember Me? It use to be a solid endgame perk now it is trash and never worth using.
