Hm I mean there must be a reason they did that, I doubt that they did that just to troll you...

I have the video online if you want to check, at the end of the game I hide because I did not want to be found by the killer, I saved the survivor, so I had done nothing to deserve this.

I don't think what the killer did was right but IF you were hiding for a long period of time and neither of you were progressing to end the game I would be really bothered. I know you aren't obligated to be chased if you can evade it, but at least progress with the objective.

If you are my last BBQ stack and I've never seen you in all game because you are a sneaky blendette, believe me I'll make whatever I can to find and hook you lol.

And as @Joao_Bandicoot said, be careful with the video you send, because if you haven't made any progress on gens for more than 10 minutes, just hiding and make the killer lose time, maybe who will get banned will be you.

My brother keeps on hiding in lockers cause he is aways afraid of the killer. He is the biggest potato ever. So he sometimes doesnt do anything in an entire match, and when he tries he just explodes gens (its better when he does nothing LOL). Then he can be banned cause of that? Cause he did nothing useful an entire match?

The EGC made impossible to one last survivor to keep the game hostage.

Oh yeah? Not in my experience. Had a swf team sandbag me as a solo once and all I did was go to the killer shack so I could get my Head ON achievement done at that point I got griefed by this Dwight for the entire game.

There is no rule against hiding the entire game. Now, you will probably die, make your team mates extremely mad and get almost no BP and probably lose a PIP but it is 100% a legit strategy. Wasting time?????...shocking as this is you can find the survivor you know? If he/she is the last one you can find the hatch and close it starting the EGC, if all gens are done you can open the gate and start the EGC countdown as well. If I get to the point where there is just me and one other and we have 4 or 5 gens to do...it's hide and seek time baby. I'm not going anywhere near a gen and if it takes you ten minutes to find me that's on you.

Yeah I shouldn't have said 10 minutes. That's clearly not bannable. But if you hide with another survivor and not make any gen progress for an hour or more, then it is bannable. There have been discussions on the forums about that. Check them out.

If you can't find one of two of them in an hour there is something wrong with you. Back in the good old days, sure you had a good map you could hide for 40-45 minutes, but now? Highly unlikely two people are going to want to stretch out a game for an hour. Eventually one will get bored and try to do a gen or just want the game to end and want to be found or dc or maybe just maybe the killer will actually find them. In a two-survivor game, I have maybe drawn out a hopeless game for 10 minutes at most. Usually, one of us gets downed or hooked and either one of us then dies or we both do. If any two survivors can manage to hide from a killer for an hour I'd be greatly impressed, but I also think that to have never happened. I can see it back in the old days with one, but not now.

My only comment would be they aren't here for your fun, but seriously hiding in a bush all day isn't much fun either. If the game is hopeless I will hide but only in the hopes of prolonging the game so one of us gets the hatch because sooner or later he is going to get one of us.

I don't really hide, I went to liberate the other survivor, I made 2 gen and when I was going to release him they were debated so he got to stage two on the hook by his own fault.

Not quite true. Some survivors are simply just trashy players. I've played several matches where survivors turned dirty against me for no reason. I've had killers find me under suspicious circumstances and I'm almost sure another survivor spectated the match and revealed my location to the killer.

I've also had survivors screw me over, when it was just the two of us left and even after I've saved them from the hook. One time, I rescued a survivor and then hid in a locker in view of this survivor. He then led the killer to my locker and repeatedly tried to open it, to show the killer I was there. Had no choice but to rush out of the shower, got sacrificed, then the killer let this survivor go through the hatch.

Another time, after rescuing this Feng Min off the hook, we went to work on a gen. Killer was coming, I went to hide. Feng there then decided to continuously point in my hiding spot, so I had to leave and ran into the killer. Guessing their mindset was to try and escape while the killer was distracted with me.

While there are good players out there, there will also be cheaters or salty players who try to ruin or screw others over because they think they can get away with it. A lot of the time, they do.

    1. Holding the game hostage is bannable however only really the killer can do this, such as trapping a survivor in a corner the entire match until EGC.

    2. The survivor can't technically hold the game hostage as the killer can easily just start EGC and they'll die either way, and if they're hiding and they die from it that's their own fault and not the killers. So can't say survivors hold the game hostage as it's kind of impossible as far as I'm aware. Since if you don't do the objective the killer will probably find you either way from crows or just seeing you randomly.

    3. If they worked with the killer to just kill you it's a bannable offense as that's an unfair advantage for them and the killer with only you being the target.

    4. Just make a report ticket and send the video link in the report and the mods will review and handle it

Hoped this help, to the best of my knowledge. Don't quote me on any of this though <3

I'll bet $1000 all you did was hide using urban evasion never doing gens because you have a key in your hand the whole game right? and because the other survivors were down a person were unable to do any gens and when they finally saw what you were doing decided to help the killer to punish you for being useless and now your mad at the survivors for not putting up with your cowardice? How did I come up with this theory easy i see it all the time, bet you were playing blendette too. Lol you guys are funny.

I mean come on guys read his comment "the killer couldn't find me so he called a survivor for help" where we're you when he found you? A locker perhaps?

It's still a bannable offense to help the killer. It's not bannable to be a lazy player. I mean if it were, many campers would be banned 🤷‍♀️

Don't get me wrong I'm on both sides in many cases but I'm sure all of us have a story where gens aren't being done then you go into spectate mode to watch this dude almost always Claudette urban evading everywhere hiding in lockers with a key just waiting for someone else to play the game enough for them to hatch escape. I'm not saying it's ok to do that but think of the survivor who did he's probably in spectate mode watching the stupidity pissed that the selfish player who didn't get any gen points at the end is still hiding not helping. I'm not saying it's ok but in some cases the survivor hiding instead of helping is just as at fault. Just the other day I was on sanctum we were fine then all of a sudden the game went south, my fault tried to vault a window in chase but totem was right there kinda messed it up lol but I was on hook for the entire duration my one team member was downed by a camping Bubba then the other guy was trying to draw him away I died without seeing guy number 4 I went in to spectate he was in a locker right behind me he could have saved me picked up the other guy but he hid in locker waited for killer to close the hatch then took his key and left.... Not saying helping the killer is a fair thing but damn I was tempted. Lol I'm just saying it's situational tossing ban this ban that around is subjective. Yeah dick move helping killer but is the survivor on a team playing all solo any better he's basically helping the killer at that point making it a 3 man game.

I didn't have a key, I didn't hide, I made boxes at the end, and we were two against the doctor, when I wait for the killer's sound I hide in a locker so as not to be electrocuted you just have to see my video which is on youtube you will see that I did nothing to get the survivor to report me. thank you
