You can pick up and hold an extra item during a trial. Dropping your primary item activates the second item.

Tier 1: Lose 25% of the remaining charges upon pickup

Tier 2: Lose 20% of the remaining charges upon pickup

Tier 3: Lose 15% of the reamining charges upon pickup

I'm a hoarder and I want a perk that allows me to bring two items back from a trial! Here's my rationale: The survivor can only pick up items from within a challenge. In other words, you cannot bring two items from the lobby. You can, however, pick up two items from within a trial if you come empty-handed. When picking up a second item, you will automatically stash it. Dropping an item (by force or by choice) will automatically bring forth the stashed item. This means that you can cycle between your items by dropping your active item on the ground and then picking it up to stash it.

Drawback: you lose a percentage of the remaining charges whenever you pick up an item.

Killer counter: Franklin's Demise. Charges could go really fast and items could be flying all over the place.

To clarify: you can bring an item as usual. The perk will allow for extra pickups within the trial. You can pick up dead teammate’s items as well. The maximum amount of items in a trial will not change.
