How can I add friends?

So I have dbd on ps4 and I want to play the game with my friend who has the game on PC. Is it possible for us to play? And if yes, how? Please I need your advice 🥺

    Unfortunately, crossplay between PS4 and PC isn't supported at the moment. We have reason to believe that it might be coming in the future, but for now it's not possible for you and your friend to play together unless you own the game on the same platform.

    Just as a side-note, some players have claimed/thought that the Xbox Game Pass was a gateway to play with PC players, but it's actually not. There is no Cross-Play between any DBD platform BESIDES Windows and Steam. BHVR, as said above, is interested in the idea of Cross-Play yes, but we have no information on when or what is happening with the idea at the moment.

    You'll unfortunately have to wait until cross-play has been implemented OR buy the PC version of DBD and play with them on there.
