DeathSlinger is great! Even on Console!
He’s so fun to play and seems very strong at this moment (IMO!)
There was talk that Deathslinger would be very difficult on console. I’d say those assumptions were wrong. Not saying he’s totally easy to play, but he isn’t difficult for the reasons that people gave; Saying that would be specific to console and not PC (frames, controller -for some reason?-).
To be fair I do have an X, which runs DBD at a pretty high rate compared to all the other consoles. Frames are never an issue when playing DBD.
I feel that deathslinger can surpass a lot of the other killers on the roster if played on a high level.

Why would anyone think he'd be difficult on console? Maybe they just meant PS4 cause Xbox actually runs the game just fine. It's Roadhog trying to hook Tracer easy.

PS4 runs the game fine, based on my roommates performance. People say he's "harder on console" due to KB and mouse being flat out better for aiming literally 100% of the time.

I knew he was week just from watching him in the ptb lol he’d be easily bullied unless buffed but sadly he was not (I play on ps4) that being said today I’ve gone up against him and I’ve only had fun,fast games with him He is easily bullied ..I’m rank 1 so even if rank means nothing it still shows people who know the game .. I just think he needs some serious buffs otherwise he will end up in D tier but that’s just my opinion

Oh that's false. What's better for aiming is subjective and dependent upon the individual user. I'd take a controller any day. Also, people act like there aren't any FPS games on consoles or something. Two of which are hero shooters that have heroes with hooks.

When someone says a particular killer is bad on console, I take it with a grain of salt. Some people also like to make up ######### for their lack of skill.

PC players seem to forget that console killers have been playing on controllers since day one. People who play shooters on controller are already a step ahead. That's where these assumptions come from. Framerate issues affect all killers, not just Deathslinger.

Bad at loops, little map pressure, satisfying as hell to nail someone with the gun.

Until you run out of space and have to pick up your mouse and recenter it. An issue that doesn't exist on a controller. A split second is often the difference between 1st and 2nd place.
Also it's still completely dependent on the person. A mouse will more accurately get you go where you wanna look but aim differs from player to player. There are players that can hit 360 no scope headshots and there are players that couldn't hit a static target with a rocket launcher.

He runs really smooth on ps4 and it feels good when aiming compare to huntress (little) or nurse (bad) where you have to guess a bit.

I'm still haven't had a chance to sling some death😭
I'm going to give he a fair chance but i'm not big on the whole cowboy theme. I think the overall theme is done well, i'm just not finding the cowboy engineer appealing.
I may like the actual play of him though.
