I don't even know, but I'll tell you... It's weird

Anyone else playing on multiple systems? I have quite literally all versions of this game aside from the PS4 version. Today I started playing this on Xbox and let me say that things are definitely off...

I've had plenty of times where the killers perks don't even show at all up until the game is over (I was sacrificed) now this I can assume may also be a anti-cheating type of thing and not a bug so that people probably don't die and squelch off to their buddies what the killer is running. But one thing I definitely know that is "not normal" is the frame rate. Now I understand I'm on Xbox and Microsoft isn't too big a fan to pay for more than their dollar store servers on this game... But my game tends to only ever lag right as I swing when playing killer, when a survivor does a 180° or 360° spin when I lunge attack or when a killer attacks at me with lunge. I've also noticed that sometimes when I'm spectating a game on another survivor that when they get hit 8/10 the game freezes up for me. Not them from what I'm aware of.

I figured this would be a good place to bring my questions and see if it's just Xbox, if it's only consoles, all of them or just the game. Either way, it kind of kills the gameplay after a while because I feel "clunky" when this keeps happening and I would like my gameplay to be far smoother lol

PS4 here. It’s pretty much how you describe. Surprisingly, some of it is my fault. As in, restarting the console tends to clear up a good chunk of the jitters.

As for killer perks being hidden, this was an actual decision by the devs over a year ago. I thought it was all systems, so I’m actually really surprised to hear that you can see killer perks before the end of the match on other systems! (To be clear, you’re referring to the post-game tally screen, right?). The point of this was to keep spectators from informing their buddies of killer perks over comms. If the killer has NOED, it’s not so fair for survivors to suddenly know before it procs (just an example. I’m not starting a NOED debate here.)

    Anyway, hope this helps!

It makes sense and that's what I figured, yes I was talking about post game tally screen. As for the rest when it comes to the frames and random lag sequences, I can only imagine it's a console thing because it rarely ever happens on PC.
