One of the killer challenges called Ruthless aggression says it requires to earn 3 malicious emblems of iridescent or higher. Seeing iridescent is the highest does the challenge mean gold or higher?

No, it means Iridescent. The UI designers probably just used their "Earn # Emblems of X quality or higher" template that they used for other similar challenges, and didn't pay enough attention to how much sense it made in this particular instance. In other words, the wording is probably just an oversight.
