Did faster survivor que bring all the potatos from woodwork?

I dont remember solo survivor ever being this horrible as after the release of killer. It seems like all the potatos are out in force due the fast ques and its really hard to get anything done when every single team mate goes down in 10 seconds.

Edit: Just played round as a killer and versed same potatos as I have seen as my team mates. Whats going on?

Fast queue is because of the potatoes. Like bruh.

Before BHVR changed the SWF matchmaking when survivor ques were good I didnt see this amount of boosted people in red ranks. What I'm currently witnessing is survivors play like its their first time ever playing survivor and have no idea even about the basics.

I know exactly what you mean. I did Deathslinger adept yesterday at red ranks with the most potato group I've ever faced in a long time. But it is annoying as hell when I am playing as solo survivor to have them as teammates :/

Red rank has always been boosted. Save 2 people, do 1 gen. The formula has been around for years.

Only explanation I can surmise is the toolbox changes were so devastating that people have lost their minds.

This always happens with new chapters. People who stopped playing and new players start playing and increase the general playerbase making survivor queues faster and killer queues longer, but they're not as skilled as continuous players. You should notice a number of killers are also worse than usual. However, while skilled survivors are stronger than skilled killers, unskilled killers are stronger than unskilled survivors so the impact is going to be stronger when you're playing survivor.

I have had my fair share of qualified Maris Pipers today. Running up to where I'm fixing a gen, killer in tow. Absolute twonks.

If you don't run bond 24/7 then this can be an honest mistake. And you can't really change directions while injured. You need to commit to one direction.

Faster survivor que because more players are playing the new Killer.

Which I find funny because no matter how much the dev's tried to deny it. This more than proves the community was right that the long survivor wait time was due to the fact there wasn't enough Killers. Once people have had their fill we are going to go back to the 15-20 minute wait times, until we finally see some real buffs coming Killers way (that are not just band aid perks that get nerfed just before live release)

    This.

They better buff killer pretty soon cause Doom and RE3 are right around the corner.

Yes but if, when Im getting chased, I hear a gen about to pop, I don't make an effort to run up to it. Some people do because a) Potato b) They want another survivor to get clumped.

It's a possibly that some of the circus behaviour can be connected to players attempting Tome challenges. Who knows.

I often only hear a gen when I get close. And by then the killer is probably already notified. Either I offer myself up as a sacrifice which would be pointless because we're already in earshot, or I commit towards running towards a loop that may or may not be in general vicinity.

Or I could get on comms and make the game an even larger cesspool. But messing up then reacting to it, is core DBD gameplay.
