Another prime example why gen speed complaints aren't excuses.

Of course it had to be a tru3 video...

This time around in DBD's infinitely balanced not at all survivor sided gameplay, we have our wonderous new killer on launch with NO BUFFS. *He OBVIOUSLY didn't need any from this gameplay from one of the most popular and skilled streamers out there* This gameplay didn't host any crazy map god loops, crazy looping, or even crazy mindgames; this match was simple from start to finish, Tru3 played it quite well from the start but by the the 2nd hook at 2 minutes they had 2 gens popped, and even seconds before that they had 4 GENS near enough done... right... of course they unhooked the girl and tru3 decided to play fair and NOT TUNNEL the new off basement hook and chase her unhooker only for it to be around a 30 second chase and then another 2 FULL GENS being popped... and survivors wonder why killers camp and tunnel, tru3 literally gets punished for playing fairly and just trying to chase a survivor without having to play mircro manage hit and run tryhard style and just play the new killer on release day. Of he ends up getting a 3k but by result of him being FORCED to a survivor he hooked at the last gen being popped showing how this game encourages killers to play scummy if they want to have a chance at winning against the higher end of players or simply players that don't screw around and just rush gens. Note again no crazy looping or abuse of god loops, literally just survivors plopping themselves on gens from the start and just winning against from what it seems now another low tier killer that for some reason moves at 110% despite his power doing jack all and can be so easily countered. But no killer just gotta get gud, gen speed is fine and survivor is the weaker side having to deal with the such harsh stresses of camping and tunneling even though you have a million and one second chance perks to save you from that very thing. Instead of blaming the helpless killers you rush gens on blame the devs for their piss poor balancing and deciding inaction on this half a decade issue from release still needs no mention or balance changes done to it. *Clap Clap* For another amazing chapter in DBD! Enjoy getting Gen Rushed!

IIRC on the Q&A streams the devs have said they plan to do something with totems to make them a secondary objective for survivor.

The demo tunnels and pressures no one else in that match during gen fixing, they had nothing to do so that is entirely on the killer.

A typo 4:55 but still pretty obvious the balance of this game is outta wack

Actually, from the time the first gen pops until the last it is 2:55. But yeah, counting all those seconds until the first pops, it is 4:55, as you said. :)

Look at the clip myers posted, killer chases someone, downs them and applies pressure elsewhere in attempt to slow them down, it still results to nothing.

Friend reminder he’s one of the best EU killer mains

you know tru3 is one of the best EU killer mains right LMAO I doubt many killers could come back from that, man you appear to love explaining how perfectly balanced this game is

Of course he struggled with a new killer. It takes time to learn how to play a new killer properly. I was watching Marth struggle alot with Deathslinger last night. As the evening progressed he got a better feel for the new killer. I don't disagree that the early game needs to be slowed a bit. But you act like every game is filled with veteran rank 1 survivors.

Not just EU, Tru3 is debatably one of the best killer mains in the game, along with Otz, Scott Jund, and Zubat. Lo and behold, these streamers also have trouble sometimes with games like this.

I'm saying the video you posted adds nothing to this thread, it isn't an insight into anything.

Also myers video was of a trapper who may as well not have a power on Lery's, he downs someone (yay pressure!) and leaves them to get picked up thus losing possible stacks/pressure by picking a chase he then loses anyway.

I'm not saying that gens are 100% fine, but these videos are of games that are not nearly as common as you're trying to portray them.

I've stated on this thread games like this can be not as common as ones with average survivors, but they happen well enough to warrant a half a decade long controversy to how survivors are the power role

Uhm yea, these occurrences should be allowed to happen, because they ARE rare, go look at any killer main who is actually good and these matches are RARE.

But yes, they should exist because what can you do to the game to prevent these from happening that won't have an affect on EVERY match? You can't do it, killers can end games in 4 minutes, like literally end them, killers in here acting like these 4 gens ended the match in 5 minutes yet the actual match was over 10 minutes, idk man, I don't like using videos of people learning killers & still 3king as evidence that this game needs to extend gen time.

That I disagree with, they usually do go back. They just heal before and work together.

According to many on this forum I'm a "survivor main", but I mostly 3-4K every match, idk why a survivor main is apparently better at killer than killer mains but hey, it is what it is, I don't sweat as killer or survivor idk why you all struggle so hard, honestly.

Tru3 fans whining about him not 4king in the first minute of the match is an immedeate yikes from me

They could if they remain 115, but they definitely need to make the maps shorter/smaller

They ignore the fact that tru only got 3k because the survivors played unnessarily altrustically at the end. They could have easily 3 man escaped. The fact that survivors played stupid in the end game and made the game go longer is irrlevant to the issue brought up here. It goes more to the point that these survivors weren't even good. You dont have to play well as survivor to escape even against a good killer. You just do your objective and get out.

Also if I ever did that at the end I would have been called face camping no skill trash by survivors in post game lobby too.

Sure they do, because this is the gameplay Mr. "I play both sides" wants. He wants to have constant 4Ks with the Survivors not having a chance.

    @Topic:

Yay, a tru3-video where he got a 3K. How unique.

Keep in mind, tru3 is a fog whisperer and probably in the top 10 best at this game. How many times do you see him die as survivor? Hardly ever. Yet, he still gets smoked sometimes when playing killer. KEEP in mind, how GOOD tru3 is, and HE can't even constantly 4k, and sometimes gets 0k... That shows you just how powerful the survivor role is alone, let alone a SWF team...

Well, yeah, but I have a hard time empathizing when the killer clearly didn’t know what he was doing. His strategy was non existent.

Not sure what this proves. Streamers don't upload lowlights. Killers will see gens done too fast. Survivors will see the 3k and overall match length. And Tru3 plays the game for a living anyway, which makes his results atypical at best. Most people don't have 4k plus hrs. It's baffling to me that people can't take their own experience into consideration in these discussions. It's entirely possible for someone to be at red ranks with 200 hrs played and get steamrolled consistently by solo queue survivors with 1000+ hrs each.

Are gen speeds usually a problem for me as killer? No. I have 1400 hours. When the games do go fast, I check hours and usually find those survivors had twice the experience I have. My solo queue survivor games tend to be easy mode at red ranks because the maps aren't balanced around survivors actually knowing how to play the game, especially when the killer can't deal with safe pallets.

I see a tonne of people saying about how he got a 3k anyway.. But, from what I could tell it looked like the survivors literally gave him it. They 99'd the door instead of opening it and tried to heal while close by, seemingly forgetting that Nurses was a thing. Not only that, but instead of going in, maybe more than one at a time. Only one of them went for the save while the others did nothing but try and pick someone up while close by..

In that situation, if they had all just left, he would of finished with one kill. Which would mean he had lost.

But, if they had healed to full, opened the gate, and then bum-rushed the hook while body-blocking. Tru3 would have had to have landed about 5 hits I'd say, maybe 6 with BT, to be able to down them all. With body-blocking, Death- Deathslinger is such an edgy name... Just gonna call him The Gunslinger. Gunslinger's chain would be made pretty much worthless since it's easily broken. Seeing as he's 110%, would be unlikely he'd be able to catch the ones that are in front with standard melee, and with the speed boosts he'd give the healthy ones along with reloading. I doubt he would have gotten them all, if any.

That's not even taking into account the dead-hards they had to dodge one of the hits/shots as well.

But, they were idiots and gave him free kills. Which means people have an excuse to say how he won anyway, instead of looking at the actual problem. That problem being how can you trust any kill ratios when people do stupid stuff like that- Oh and Gens being done really quickly. Which would probably be sorted by leaving the base speed the same, but increasing the time it takes with multiple people a small bit and giving Prove Thyself a little nerf. With the slowdown perks killers have and how toolboxes work now, I think that would even it out.

13 minute game, 3 dead 1 escapes, why do people always post the worst examples?

He did a lot of damage after the gens were done. Imagine if he had NOED.

Do you really want to see how my games are going on? I can start recording 50 games and in all of them i will lose more like 1-3 times if at all.
