Can false reports get you banned?

I swear i am no mori camp and tunnel everybody away player, but i play the game a lot lately and survivor minds seem to explode sometimes.

I tunneled because there were 3 people not healing and looking the same?

get a message post game "Reported tunneler!"

I slug to get the 4k for the archive doctor challenge?

"I thought slugging is for noobs, no gg! reported!"

I break a pallet and kick a gen next to a hooked survivor?

"reported for camping"


So i know this are no valid reasons to report, but are reports checked by people?

I know there was a time in Overwatch where a big youtuber made everybody angry about one tricks ( players who only play one character) And many got banned because they were reported too often.

Is this a possibillity here? can I get banned because Survivors false report me?

    tunneling isnt banable, and to anwser your question no you can get baned by false reports

    No. You will never be banned from the number of reports you receive alone. We review each one and see if they are legitimate before we take any action. Although in this case, tunneling, slugging, and camping wouldn't be reasons for a ban anyway.

    I get accused of wall hacking every time i play nurse.

    I get told I'm hacking the game when I'm using whispers to find people.

    My favorite. I had someone ask me "How did you know I was there?" "I saw you" "Im claudette. you couldnt have seen me. REPORTED!"
