In game voice communication

i mean I know it’s a long shot. But do you guys think that maybe the killers would hear the survivors every communication. Cause I mean survivors have can communicate with each other. So why give the killer voice communication. I mean I’m tired of not able to pinpoint where the survivors are. I mean best or worse idea. My thing though the killer wouldn’t talk. But the killers would be to hear everything that the survivors are saying to each other. What you all think?

If it would work like in F13th I would have nothing against voice communication in DbD.

No, let killers talk. So I can roleplay as Jigsaw when playing Pig.

Hmm I once got a Jason who kept saying "I'm coming to get you" in a really squeaky voice and I'm not sure I need to experience that again

I'd rather not hear someone shoving crisps in their mouth or blasting their music. Missing a skillcheck because the 20th chuckle head in a row decides to ear #########, or the ever persistant cries of "Noob, f*g, EZ...as well as a slew of nasty insults people already send in text.

Don't get me wrong, in theory it sounds fun. In practice....a lot of people on the internet can't help themselves and will ruin it very quickly. The attitudes of those in game chat and on these forums have proven we can't have nice things.

For peaceful communities like on PS4 and PC, sure, but not on Xbox. Xbox community is a cesspool of toxicity.

If the killer can hear the survivors? Oh that will be fun..."hey you camping slug go run in front of a car" and sure it would be far worse than that actually just an example of what they could expect to hear.

BHVR once said they made it on purpose without communication. Survivors shall make their own decisions without their mates telling them what to do or not.

They also said, they wont ever change this.

Its not intended, that people can communicate over other software with each other, but theres no way to prevent this.

And actually, when i see the aftergame chats... i dont really want some randoms yelling and cursing at me in a voice chat...
