Losing addons

My unconsumed items are losing their addons when I escape.. did they change this? I know that once you consume an item you will keep it if you escape, only losing its addons, but I've been escaping with untouched items and I get the "ding" sound you get when you "recover" and item after escaping, like you had used it and won it back... I assume (want to think) this is a bug, right? losing addons from half consumed items..

    Hi, this is not a bug - this is by design. Survivor add ons are now used in the same way as killer ones are.

    Ace in the Hole (perk from Ace) does prevent the loss of Add ons for a survivor, so there is an option to retain if you wish.
