Furtive Chase

Honestly what is the point of the perk? I have yet to see someone use it with success. At first it was about switching obsessions but nemesis does it better. Can someone tell me a killer that can use this perk with success. It’s pretty useless imo. Old Freddy was able to wall hack with this perk but ever since Freddys change, I can’t think of a time it is actually useful. Is there a good build for this perk?

Nemesis is it's better in every way counterpart, but furtive can be good against teams who catch on to your use of nemesis and counter it by early pallet drops and avoiding stuns, nemesis can be countered if careful enough but furtive can't, other than that furtive exist for no reason and nemesis is 100x better

There are a few synergies that you can make with that perk, such as Nemesis and Make Your Choice. Those can make people extremely paranoid of unhooking obsessions, since they become oblivious and exposed at the same time. If you keep going for them it can be fun 😁.

Also the new Dead Man Switch spices things up if used in the mix 🙂

Furtive Chase has no use other than obsession switching which nemesis does better. It’s honestly upsetting and I hope it gets changed soon.

I didn’t even think of this, might actually try it now!

Yeah, if you build your playstyle around that build it becomes an "Obsession switching and chase" galore.

If you feel confident and don't need to stop gens, you can also decide to sacrifice the Dead Man Switch fourth perk and put in Rancor. It's more of an extra psychological pressure than anything, because if Survivors become aware of it they will think thrice to become the obsession when almost all gens are done. 😄

If they don't get aware of it, well they might get surprised at the end. Of course if you somehow kill the obsession, getting a new one with Nemesis becomes high (if not highest) priority. 👍️
