I dont like the new map

Its kinda like haddonfield... I just dont know how to deal with highgrounds as lets say the pig.

The saloon is worse than the haddonfield houses, you have to break every damn wall in this thing to have a chance hitting survivors.

They will camp the gen at the front side until you go all the way up and if you do so theyre gone long.

And this isnt even the only highground on this map.

To be fair im not the experienced player, im rank 1 both roles but There are many things i dont know.

Im just good at mindgames so thats a big + for me.

Any tipps on how to deal with highgrounds?

My go to option is to let these gens go and defend the lowground gens but that cant be the trick i hope^^

Me neither mate, me neither. I swear there are pallets every 5 meters. I started a chase with a survivor and he found a pallet 5 seconds after he dropped one. The main building is so damn bad, you have like 5 walls that you have to break so you are able to chase someone, if you don't break them, well, you are f*cked.

Oh yeah, and that damn eagle that CAW every 5 seconds, i think i will lose my mind if i hear that caw again

Survivor wise I like the map, getting the map is impossible for me so I haven’t played a lot of it.

Killer wise ehh I only got to play one match with freddy. there were tons of places to put pallets which was both cool and sucked to see how many pallets can spawn. :/

Personally I really like the map with every killer I played so far. Before the PTB it was the most killer sided map, which was nice for a change to balance out the survivor sided ones. The live version is honestly still pretty killer sided imo, but maybe the survivors I faced didn't learn the loops yet. The one thing you shouldn't do is break all walls in the main building tho, only break the wall they added in the live version near the windows at the top of the stairs and the wall near the window in one of the top rooms, that turns the whole building super unsafe. Breaking the wall leading into the window room actually makes it stronger for survivors, since it makes quick vaults easier. The only other wall thats worth breaking is maybe the one near the window at the bottom floor, but that one isn't as important. It is important to break them with a strategy during a chase or while patrolling and not giving up gen pressure for them tho.

Overall the map is my favorite killer map by far rn, since there are no real god-loops on that map and almost all of the pallets can be mindgamed.

I like the map, mostly as survivor. The only part I hate is the middle building, where you have to travel so far to get to the generator and survivors have such a warning that you’re coming.

And soooo many breakable walls. Too many, I know that it’s a new feature, but dang please there only needs to be a couple

I actually like the new map, for the most part. I've only been on it with Nurse, however, so that's probably given me a different experience. My primary issue with the map, though, is all the creaking. I like it, don't get me wrong, but I have trouble differentiating if the creaking is the ambient noise or a survivors footsteps.

thats why the walls are a thing: to justify strong loops.

when i join the map the first thing i do in entering the saloon and breaking certain walls to shut these loops down.

the other highgrounds arent bad, honestly. there is usually a hole right next to the vault that you can use to get down yourself.

if we're talking about the gallows, yeah you're gona have to deal with them sitting there until you get up there yourself. though there arent many good looping spots around it, so you should be able to deal with it.

I don't like the position of the generator on the saloon. I think it is entirely too safe. I agree with you on that point. I do like the aesthetics to the map a lot though. It's a beautiful map. The breakable walls are interesting but largely pointless.

I love the new map as Killer and Survivor. Let's not forget, they did say they will watch how we use the breakable walls. So they're collecting data to see if they need to remove any or change any.

I absolutely LOVE how the map looks. The ambient sounds are a bit much but that could just be from having many maps with little to no ambiance. Also I swear those tumbleweeds can pass for a survivor in the corner of my vision crouching behind a wall.. As for how the map plays, I only dislike the main saloon generator as others have said. Can you play around it? Yes. But boy does it take up so much more time than any other generator. I'm usually glad when it's the first or second one to go just so I don't have to deal with it for the rest of the match.

This map is similar to Haddon and Badham (and may be Swamp) I agree. Literally any map that has at least 2 Gens that on 2nd floor, which mean those Gens have only 1 path to approach the Gen, make it really safe for Survivor.

At least Asylum has 1 Gen on 2nd floor that in the middle of the map and has multiple ways to approach
