is there a point in going for shots at long distance with Deathslinger?
Is it really worth it? what with how easy it is for survivors to move and get behind something. plus how other survivors can break the chain.
I feel like you should get something special for hitting them at a long distance( yes ik his red addon allows him to one shot them but thats if they even make it to him without breaking the chain.
any ideas as to how youd make it work?

You get more blood points for hitting far range and a change like that will cause alot of trouble.

They could give you a blood point scoring when you land farther shots, like how huntress gets a charged hatchet score event.

You already get 200 BP for landing a wide shot. The scoreevent is called Sharpshooter.

Huntress can literally throw a hatchet across the map and instantly confirm a hit. Deathslinger cannot confirm a long range hit the majority of the time because survivors can break the chain fast for their buddies or you can weave onto a wall or something. This is a change that he needs. Otherwise there's no point to play him when Huntress exists. She actually gets rewarded.

Injuring a Survivor has its advantages. Applying Deep Wound as well.
And injured Survivor will be easier to kill later if they dont heal. If they do, it gives a Killer more time to work with. Deep Wound forces another healing and so offers more time.
This really helps when you need to be defensive or putting out pressure. Put someone in DW and they are fully pressured without you needing to keep chasing. Allowing a Deathslinger to pressure elsewhere.
Put it this way. If a Survivor already has a lead, as a 110% Killer Deathslinger has NO reason to chase that guy. It would take a lot of time to just get close and it would be a complete waste of said time. But if you land that long shot. That is making something from nothing.
Eating a stun to gain pressure, or have nothing at all. Looks like progress to me.
