No school for three weeks š
Iām happy, sad, and a tiny bit worried lol. The school kinda made too big a deal of it personally by having our laptops ādecontaminatedā and giving them to us until itās safe. Iām happy because I can sleep in now but I wonāt be able to see my friends for almost a month. š

You have a lot more chance to stay safe though, your health is a lot more important than being away from friends for a month.
Enjoy your month and stay healthy :)

honestly the entire problem could be solved with a couple of flamethrowers

Big concern right now is running out of supplies. All this stockpiling and hoarding has unfortunately coincided with my normal shopping run and Iām not able to get the things I need.
On a related note, you know that guy who hoarded 17,000 bottles of hand sanny? Letās put him in the game as a survivor!

They closed schools in germany too, now if there were enough people to watch those kids.
Im sure the older ones wont stay inside and hang out with their buds, making the whole thing useless.

every store I go into itās completely out of cleaning supplies, toilet paper, tissues, and now small packs of water, only the big ass 30+ packs are left. I just wish people would s t o p hoarding.

Thank you! Exactly!
Anyone with half a brain can plan ahead and be safe out in public by being careful. We all know that if we continue to maintain normal shopping habits, supplies will remain in stock as normal.
But then...the idiots. The one factor that we cannot plan for! They hoard and stockpile. They cough in the middle of a crowd. They think theyāre special and itāll never Allen to them. Just like on the road: It doesnāt matter how good a driver you are, it only takes one idiot to screw everything up!
That said, while Iām going to resist the urge, I will admit itāll be tempting to hoard a few items when I actually do find them in stock, just so I donāt get shafted by the true hoarders. Others will give in when they realize itās in their best self-interest, but then the problem only gets worse smh.

I just never understood the hoarding. like I know youāve had some before and if you bought what you regularly did every week things would be normal. but n o p e all gone. theyāre going to be available again so you hoarding is just being selfish to the people who are actually out of whatever.
thing is itās the dumbest stuff that are going out, why toilet paper out of literally everything? lysol, hand sanitizer, and soap is starting to run out too but napkins, bleach, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, actual alcohol which kills of the virus, are still here. like what? Iām resisting too though, the only thing iām probably gonna buy three or four of is my shampoo. why people are starting to hoard that too idk but iām n o t about to run out of that. š¤£

Unfortunately the whole world is in a panic over something that's literally an over-glorified cold, and us common folk have to suffer from the easily swayed minds. 18 years of my life, down the drain, all those useless homework packets and essays about cliche life lessons which are already known by common sense, have been done in vain. Looks like there won't be any graduation for me, or jobs for that matter. Can't get jobs without diplomas, and even if I do get the diplomas, no one is hiring because everything is shutting down. My step parent's job has been shut down for weeks so now I literally have no privacy, no alone time or personal space in this tiny overpriced apartment. As a lone wolf, I need my space and alone time, it is crucial in order to keep my sanity in tact. Constantly living with someone 24/7, that I don't often see eye to eye with, and even sometimes get into heated arguments with, is just clawing away at me. I just want everything to go back to normal, graduate, get a job, and move to Canada, so I can truly be on my own. My family is just one big mess and I can't afford to live near my few friends, can't even see em cause they're on the other side of the country. And now we have selfish people hoarding everything, because instead of taking just at least 5 minutes of research for just one day out of the week, they'd rather waste hours watching mainstream propaganda and buy into fear. As if my family situation wasn't already a problem, now I'm getting screwed by the world.
What a time to be alive.

I'm guilty of stockpiling 20kg of rice. At least my family and I can last a few days in case of shortage. Hopefully the stores are going to increase their supply to meet the demand.

Im off from work for awhile because I've had a horrible cough for a few months and they don't wanna take the risk.
So it feels like I'm back in school and on break, but getting paid unemployment for it!

I hate to be that one guy but people of a young age (school age depending on specific age group) shouldn't be playing dbd.
It's certificate rating varies across the world but I know there's a lot of really young people playing that shouldn't. I'm talking about those under 13 who I think should really be playing something else.
It's one thing having fun but it's another being exposed to harmful material unsuitable for young teens and below especially with the violence, toxicity and ill nature of a lot of players.
I'd let it slide if you're 13,14+ and you are fully aware of the dangers but I know for sure that many are not and they will be playing this 24/7 when they shouldn't really.

"... an over-glorified cold" The death rate for covid-19 seems to differ from one place to another. In Italy so far there are 15,729 people who recovered, and 12,428 deaths. Which means almost half those who gets tested positive die. In that region it seems to be a lot more severe than a cold.

You definitely have inaccurate statistics. However it is widely known that a lot more people have and have had the virus than the confirmed cases. The confirmed cases recorded are generally those being treated in hospital. Coronavirus isn't something that is being diagnosed unless it's putting you in hospital.
Lots of people have it and it does very little if nothing at all but due to the risk of passing it on these cases cannot be confirmed by a professional.
The mortality rates are inaccurate due to the cases only including those in hospital already in a bad state.
The mortality rate is likely between 0.1 - 0.4% of those infected. Precautions should be taken but remember to be real about it.
