Do I have to buy The Spirit to complete the new tomb challenges?
Pls help I’m so close to the end and that’s the last challenge but I don’t have that killer..
I don’t know if I need to buy her or not or if I have to buy future characters or killers

If the challenge requires you to play as her, then yes you will need to buy her to complete it. However, if your goal is to complete the Rift, you can still do so without doing those challenges, you'll just have to grind a bit more. And if you're just interested in finishing the challenges for the lore or bloodpoints, there is no time limit on those, so you can save up Iridescent Shards to buy the Spirit and then complete those challenges once you have her.

That's fair enough. I do think it's not the best design choice for people to be forced to buy the characters, and I hope they improve on that for next Tome, but unfortunately for now that's what we're stuck with.

Yeah thanks, was trying to get as much points as I can because the rift is closing soon. Sometimes I just give up on the game so I wanted to do everything as quick as I could lol

I'm pretty much sure that if you play often you'll be able to get your 9000 shards.

To be honest, I think the 2 months+ that The Rift gives is more than enough to get 9000 shards, if you play consistently that is.
There's a reason why these Archive challenges don't use licensed Killers, it's so players can just play normally and unlock these characters with the shards they get from regular matches.
