Hacking or bug?

I just played against a spirit.
She managed to hit me before going out of invisibility and hit me again even when I was out of her reach.
It happened with other games too with Deathslinger and Pig.
Anyone having the same issue? Is it a hack or bug?

Sounds like an issue with dedicated servers to me

Sounds like heavy latency. If you are playing with a green ping to the server, and your connection is stable throughout the trial, then it is the killer who is playing on a bad connection. There are also some people out there who are manipulating their connection with VPNs, and BHVR doesn't want to do anything about it. Just take your losses, and move on. It's not healthy to dwell on it too much.
