M2 sometimes stops responding

My M2 is my sprint key and sometimes my character just stops moving for like 1 second and it’s.. annoying. Doesn’t happen 100% of the time but like 1/10 chance every time I run. Usually when the killer is chasing me.
ive changed my Display to 100% and the issue is still occurring. This does not happen on my older laptop. Anyone else have any solutions? :’(
