How you can contribute to making the swf population shrink.

Swf are annoying: they often tbag, they have an infinite range bond that does not consume a perk slot and there are often no weaker players among them.

However, there is a way to know if your going against a swf. Click on the name of one of the survivors to access to their profile: then, check the names of his friends. You will then know if your going against a swf or not.

Here is what you can do: when your going against solo survivors, you use a weak build to allow them to have more fun, when going against 2 man swf, use an average build (2 man swf is not that bad), and when going vs a 3-4 man swf you ruin their fun with an op build. If a lot of killers do this, swf are gonna get frustrated and leave the game and solos will have fun and stay, making it so there are gonna be more solos.

In conclusion, try to be nice to solos and mean to swf, and congrats, you are now contributing to making the swf population shrink!

Last numbers I saw had swf outnumbering solos on console dunno for switch or pc. Would losing day half the pool of survivors help anyone?

You'll be in que all day. Not worth it.

Want to make SWF so common? Buff solo survivor play. Furthermore, when you are killer and you realize you are destroying the team, take your foot off the gas and let them play a bit before finishing them off. Try not to tunnel or camp when you realize you are playing a solo que group.

See, the problem is that solo survivors are tired of being face rolled by killers so they are joining groups of SWF. They are tired of incompetent teammates that farm them in front of the killer just for the killer to down them and toss them back on the hook. That is pretty much every game as a solo survivor and it is not worth playing.

Killers have helped create the problem of an influx in SWF play. Perhaps they need to realize it. I'm quite thankful that I play for fun. I get red ranks easily as a colorblind killer with severe arthritis in my right hand. If I'm absolutely destroying a team, I ease off. Let them get some gens, win a chase or two. Then finish things.

I want more solo groups, so I try to make sure their solo matches don't suck.

You know this is not gonna stop people from playing with their friends right? If anything it will increase more toxic behavior smh.

So in 60 seconds, you want people to check and cross check each survivor to see who is friends with who, and then switch up their build accordingly and adjust their entire playstyle.

To play nice with solos (because solos are never toxic right???) and to be dicks to SWF teams (because SWF teams are never just a chill group of freinds trying to have fun together, right?)

    Interesting opinion.....

    its quite simple really.

make 2 queues, one allowing for everyone including SWFs, and another only allowing for solo players.

this game was designed around solo survivors trying to find and help each other. being an SWF counter acts that and makes the game for the killer impossible, at least those of us with lower skill.

i dont want to play against SWFs and it would help to know when i am and when im not.if i could queue up against only solo players or at the very least, max 2 SWFs at once, this game would be much more balanced.

What do you mean? This is what quite a few people already do (unless they just straight up dodge the lobby).

It's not gonna have any meaningful impact whatsoever either because again, people have been doing this since forever. Not specifically to "ruin their fun", but to give themselves a better chance in what they expect to be a tough match. Despite what one might think from reading threads and posts about the game, the majority of killers and survivors alike don't play the game with "ruin the fun of others" as a primary objective.
