Should Decisive Strike stop a Mori/kill a survivor

Couple problems though and even you admitted to it one was the thought of "I had DS so I felt comfortable after being hooked to play a little unsafe just knowing I can land DS and potentially get away" and the other "when I got tunneled I was careless (intentionally) and the killer downed me", because you had DS you felt comfortable to play unsafe which backfired on you and you got mori'd now what would off happen if you played it safe.
So why should a survivor be able to use DS to stop a mori when they make the choice to play unsafe like you did because they know they have DS?

Because it is there to be used as a second chance

Make lockers and grabs not trigger DS. Since this nonsense happens frequently and is abuseable.
Allow DS to stop a Mori (cuz I think the animation would be cool). Wouldn't happen often. But when it does. It happens with a shard of a dos equis bottle.
Boom. The DS 2020.

No.

Decisive Strike is already OP. The last thing it needs is a buff.

It really isn't OP, ebony Moris are
0 -
Nah, it is op. It's a get out of jail free card that allows survivors to make mistakes and get away with it. It also requires zero skill to use. The worst thing is that all four survivors can have it.

ds is fundamentally flawed and useless against mori. i dont see why it would be a problem to allow this as ds can just be slugged out anyways even if you are being tunneled if the killer cares that much.

It doesn't take any skill to tunnel and camp either, that is why the perk is needed
0 -
Exactly and that still delays the game enough for the other survivors

You already have Borrowed Time. And are you really comparing the pressing of a button to a chase? Do you even play killer?
0 -
But i can't choose other players perks to guarantee borrowed time so that argument is completely pointless. And face camping is not a chase

As a survivor who uses DS every game - no. DS should stay the way it is, stunning the killer if they pick you up. Since the killer doesn’t have to pick you up to Mori you, the answer should be obvious... no.
Killers will tunnel if they want to, that’s just the game.

But it is abusing the game when played like that, i see why new players hate the game so much. This game could be massive and incredible if it wasn't for the scummy players on the game

Face camping, by definition, does not exist anymore.
You can't always expect to win as a survivor either. If your teammates are bad and save you while the killer is near without BT, shame on them. But the killer should not get punished for trying to complete his objective. If the gens were slowed down, I could agree with you, but as of right now the game is incredibly survivor sided. Try playing killer at red ranks, see how frustrating it is.

no this would be absurd. making moris obsolete. that would be abused too the heavens ... honestly lol

I do i have both at rank 1, i know there are problems for the killers but this is just a big one for survivors
0 -
How would it? It would the same as if you picked them up, you would just have to down them again to Mori them as it is a 1 time use
0 -
Want to stop tunnelling? Just slow the gens down. That's it. Buffing DS won't help.
0 -
It will as it drags the chase out for another minute

Yes, however, one problem that you are not addressing is that the Mori 100% removes the Perk as if the Survivor didn't even have a Perk Slot equipped at all. That's not quite fair either, given that it is taking up a Perk slot and we had no idea ahead of time that the Killer was going to use a Mori.
I think this would be less of an issue if we could see the Mori offering ahead of time so we know not to waste a Perk slot with DS, but as it is it makes DS 100% useless if the Killer decides to Mori off the first hook.
Also, there is absolutely no guarantee that if I wouldn't have played "unsafe" that I would have survived longer. The killer still did Tunnel me, granted I felt safe so I wasn't worried about it, but had I not felt safe and still tried to escape there is definitely no guarantee that I would have managed to escape, as the Killer did 100% tunnel me after I got unhooked, and clearly intended to Mori me right away. I'm not the best Survivor (as I play Killer more - also I have never yet in my life used a Mori as a Killer before, simply because I prefer to save them for who knows when) so my chances of getting away were rather slim either way.
If the point of DS as a Perk is to help prevent tunneling, then when a Killer runs a Mori they have the ability to continue to Tunnel while also completely 100% disabling the use of DS as a Perk. It is a legitimate 100% Counter to DS, without any counter back, at least not one that I can think of.

Now your starting to go into a whole new ball park about not knowing what the other side is bringing in, if killers knew what map offering a survivor put up they might change killer or load out as some killers are better then others on some maps.
The same thing could be said for keys killers could have end game perks and be ready for a end game setup and all those perks got wasted because someone had a key and everyone got out because of it.
Survivors throw around the tunneling word to much it's pretty much become if you chase me at all in that 60 sec window your tunneling me, if you get unhooked in front off me or soon as my back is turned and i chase you then yes that is tunneling, if 45 seconds of your DS has passed and i find you working on a gen that is not tunneling so if i find you 45+ seconds after you get unhooked working on a gen how is that tunneling but yet you still have DS is that fair for the killer.
Just like keys there is only one counter and that's if you have the perk equipped otherwise there is no real counter unless you kill everyone before it gets used, killers have no way to 100% counter keys just like survivors with mori's if you want them to look at how mori work so you don't die within the first couple min then they also need to look at keys and rework both off them not DS.

After reading this, I'm stating to think that you're trolling, or perhaps you don't really play killer. Another minute? Is that your definition of balance?

I've seen similar propositions before and I've always had the same answer, Overpowered. If you use this DS then closest gen gets finished? Please don't propose unfair and clearly survivor sided stuff if you seriously want people to be constructively critiquing. Plus, if a survivor has a knife, chainsaw, claw, gun or any other weapon to your head or other body parts, then are you really expecting to be able to stab then and run away. Yeah nah. And yeah they'd just slug you to hell (or better yet, just juggle you to hook. OR MAYBE EVEN TAKE THE STUN AND TUNNEL YOU MORE THUS NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM!) I've played since 2017 on console and I've never heard such an unbalanced thing on both sides. One, on killers side, they now see a Laurie and don't bring mori. They've now just crippled half of your perks abilities. On survivors side, if they do bring a mori, this is now a get out of jail free card. If they at all mori you, you can just run away and F off. Mori's, at their commonest version, can only be used at the end of a match. Scenario, please. You are playing with this new DS, you have opened the gates. The killer knocks you down, you hit the DS Skill Check and boom you escape because of something they couldn't control. Remember, they couldn't have known you had DS as you could only use it one and even though they clearly beat you fair and square, you have a get out of jail free while they get a "Go to Campfire, Do not pass go, do not collect £200."
