Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Do they deliberately make sure you get all the awful perks first in the blood tree?

when ever i get a new killer i always seem to unlock the useless perks first meaning i've got to sink loads of points into them before i can even get a sniff of the ones I want.

I understand this in a mobile game but when we've already paid for base game, paid for extra killers and survivors its a bit insulting :/

More motivation to P3 them. Just reset and try another 50 levels.

It depends on the rarity. Yellow ones should be first then green and onto purple.

Each of the stages has a chance to appear but that chance is less than the others.

Also as above when you have so many perks and want some specifics then the others seem useless and a waste of time for you. Really though that's just due to rng.

I've had BBQ tier 3 by LVL 20 on a couple of killers while on others I haven't seen tier 1 spawn till well over level 50+

The answer is no, it's almost completely RNG.

The only factor that could be playing a part is that perks of lower rarity tend to come up more frequently at lower bloodweb levels. Worse perks tend to be Common, as opposed to Rare, rarity at Tier I, so that may be why it feels like you get all the bad perks at first. But this isn't always the case - BBQ & Chili, for example, an undisputed piece of the killer meta, is also Common rarity at Tier I, so that doesn't necessarily follow. And also, even though lower rarities have a higher chance of appearing at lower levels, it's still chance-based, so rest assured, they don't deliberately make sure of anything along those lines.

It's random. I've had BBQ appear in the first 10 levels of one character and well after 100 on another. You have to consider that there's an awful lot of perks times 3.

They either need to add more perks to the blood web, or lower the cost. The grind is insane, and you can't even get what you want. It's COMPLETELY random. I've got deathslinger at 42 and still got ######### perks... Don't have monitor, pwyf, nemesis, surv, discord, ruin, pop, or DL. I am beginning to think they just give you ######### perks now. I've never had such ######### for perks leveling a killer man... My current load out is BBQ, shadowborn, sloppy, and thana. That's about the best I can do... 🤦‍♂️

No, it's entirely random. I'll often get the exact perks I want when I'm P0, but then when I prestige, they're nowhere to been seen. Or I'll get meta perks back to back (Dead Hard, Sprint Burst, BT, Adrenaline)... as someone who barely ever touches meta perks.
