What are your thoughts on deathslinger? Do you think he is strong, weak or balanced?

He is in a weird spot for me, I personally think he is in a good spot, he is fun to play and maybe viable against good players if you can play him perfectly without missing any shot.

I am not really good at FPS so I sometimes struggle when playing him, quickshotting has become my go to strategy because aiming down sights really confuses me.

Only viable when you don't miss any shot?

This somehow means he's not viable, as no one can play perfectly. Humans are bound to make mistakes

We can't use that logic to assume which killer is viable or I can just say that nurse is not viable because she only viable when she can land a hit after blink.

He needs some serious buffs honestly

I think he is balance. Doesn't needs any buff or nerf for now.

He has high skill cap. If you are really good at FPS game.(especially quick scope skillplay), you can make him become a really strong.

I understand why many people think he is low-tier killer or weaker than Huntress, becuase most of the killer in this game never requires FPS skillplay and most of the people used to it, Moreover he is the only killer that have legit gun mechanic for now.

I know that Huntress is also a range-damage dealer but her mechanic is not same as Deathslinger, She has long wind-up time and projectile speed is depends on charging time, while Deathslinger can quick scope with short wind-up time and fixed fast projectile speed.

But this is DBD, If he can down survivor by M2 like a huntress, he will become extremely OP. That's why he needs downsides.(Limited range/Can only use M1 to down survivors)

I think he is fine, but far more important, he is fun!

Both to play against and to play as imo

Super weak to me. Power is too risky relative to what you actually get out of it in terms of downing capability. The first hit is super overrated to me. I care more l about the ability to actually down and hook survivors. The harpoon hitbox needs to be more forgiving if survivors can frame juke it. Not sure if that's intended or not.

Fun to play, bad add ons, and useless perks with too much restriction.

Needs a complet add on rework, or atleast balancing. Ultra rares are useless, TR change when ADS are also useless, chain health only can be increased with 2 addons to a maximum of 115 points from a 100. Reload ones only can reduce it by max 1 sec or 0.75 sec with both add on, and only 1 reeling speed and missed shot add on. Mending ones are situational.

    Perks needs tweeking as well.

Dead mans switch needs to work on any hook not just obsession.

    Gear head complet rework.

Retrobution needs to be a normal perk not hex and more duration on both effect. Or complet rework as well.

There is plenty of perks that does what Deathslingers perks does but way better.

Strong against solos, weak against swf. Bad design imo. And weaker than huntress, what's really sad.
