Devs, seriously these hitboxes are ridiculous

I just finished a match with Ghostface and I cleared a vault by at least 2 meters and I still got hit. There are times where I'm not even touched during a chase and the killer still records a hit. Something needs to be done about this, it's not right.

I agree. There have been many unfair hits from killers due to lag or I guess hit box issues. I feel like if you go through a vault your hit box should just be disabled. The killer technically gains distance on you as you’re going through a vault which he doesn’t even have to go through because he can just swing at it and anything within a mile distance from the vault gets pounded into the ground. Some range that is.... but, Wow, you mean for once someone’s pointing out a survivor issue? I had to refresh the page and rub my eyes multiple times to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Insane.

I think that just is a latency issue. It affects both sides as well especially if you play huntress.

Haha, yeah I play survivor primarily and we have our issues too.

Nothing to do with hitboxes, as Daniel rightly pointed out above, that's actually a latency issue. They went into depth about it on the latest dev stream. Here's a link in case you missed it:

Or, if you'd rather read about it, you can check out my summary post here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/129766/i-spent-every-spare-moment-i-had-today-watching-the-dev-stream-so-you-dont-have-to

It’s really bad sometimes. But it’s like, if a hit weren’t that big of a deal I’d deal with it. But since there’s one hit knockdowns and Ebony Mori’s cutting your gaming experience short I think it can be infuriating and deflating. What chance did I have you know? It’s not my fault. I really don’t want to come into a game and just be someone’s 4K because they’ve got even more advantages over me.

Yes it might affect both sides but it’s more detrimental to survivors because every hit and down and hook is precious to them when there’s ways they may not be able to get back into the game after that. Whether it’s hook camping, baiting, or Mori . Killer lags and misses hit they recover so fast that idk if it really matters 🤷‍♂️

It's exactly as important for killer to get hits / grabs what they should get. Missed hit because of servers think that you didn't hit, or servers think that grab wasn't grab is huge momentum loss and can be deciding factor of whole match.

But I agree in general. Sad that p2p was better than dedicated.

I don't know if I buy the latency excuse. I've played plenty of other online games and they are nowhere near as bad as this. I can understand if it lagged, that would make sense. This is constant. So either the devs have to fix their servers, or stop using latency as an excuse and make the hitboxes tighter.
