Agreed, I enjoyed the first one and thought it was very good. Apocalypse did do a good job of Nemesis but I had a problem with him because granted it was Matt that was turned into Nemesis but we all know that Nemesis is a killing machine. Nemesis doesn't have feelings and wouldn't stop to recognize his buddy from the Hive. Extinction was pretty good for what it was frankly. I was extremely pissed about Carlos because I actually love the actor that portrayed him. Had the honor of meeting the man and he's very, very kind. But yeah, in Afterlife they shifted towards RE5 Las Plagas and just RE5 in general cause of the addition of the Executioner. Rev2 and RE6 aren't quite the same time. Rev2 is on the cusp of 6 cause at the end of Rev2 (not really a spoiler if you haven't played it) Claire is talking to someone at the BSAA about talking to Chris and she said "Oh, he's in China? Well tell Piers to keep an eye on Chris." So they are pretty close.

HUNK worked his butt off for Umbrella, the man deserves a break. Plus there is Vector and I guess you could count Lady HUNK but she only appeared in Revelations Raid Mode.

Yeeeeeeeeeeah, I had DbD on PC first so I could play with my sister since she doesn't have console. Then I got it for the console version for free from PS Plus so I played with friends on there and my buddy bought me the Switch version when we're both on the go, hahaha.

Yeah, that was definitely the big issue with Nemesis in Apocalypse, why have him have feelings, why? I forgot Carlos was even in that movie. :/ Feel bad for the actor.

I always had a love hate relationship with the whole "octopus mouth" thing they did in RE5 which carried into the later films. Oh okay, kinda cool how revelations 2 leads, basically, right into RE6. Don't see it that much in this franchise.

That PS plus thing was probably one of the best things to happen to dbd on PS4, SO many people tried it because of that. Playing on the go is so good, the switch is great!

Exactly, Nemesis had no mind of his own and was basically programmed to kill S.T.A.R.S and that's it. Then at the end the guy was like "Alice and Nemesis duke it out". I watched the movies before playing the games and when I played the games and watched the movie again, I'm thinking "oooooooook they messed this and this and this and this up badly." Not gonna lie, I kinda liked the woman who played Jill though. But yeah, like Oded Fehr did a decent job playing Carlos even though he wasn't a good match for the character. Still angry of how he was screwed over in Extinction. I think I actually cried in the theater XD

Las Plagas was great in RE4 and the three different forms of Plaga they had actually scared the crap outta me. In RE5, I couldn't stand it. The Plaga looked absolutely stupid. I know that Wesker changed the Plaga formula but it didn't make sense. The idea of Plaga is a parasite that can control an organism which basically would make them into a zombie and that's what the Ganado acted like. Kinda zombie like in the beginning but were given the order by Saddler to destroy any intruder. Saddler basically had a hive mind thing going on with the Plaga. In RE5? LOL LET'S HAVE PLAGA AGAIN NO EXPLANATION OF HOW IT WORKS.

I agree and that's part of the reason I was playing more of Dead by Daylight. Definitely gave me another game to play with my friends. One of the main reasons I got a Switch was so I could get Pokemon Sword and Shield and I decided to get the Eevee/Pikachu Switch.

Ok, was Nemesis in the games ever human or more like Mr. X? Even though he was programed with a specific purpose, he was actually very intelligent in other aspects and yeah, the entire ending was dumb. The actress they got for Jill was a very good pick though, to bad she wasn't the main character! >:(

Yeah, I have zero idea how the biology of the virus in RE5 works and it's kinda a shame they dropped the ball in that department. Won't lie though, I HATED the one type in RE4 that could insta kill you if you got close enough. I also loved the monster designs in that game.

I need to play my switch more, got like 8 games to play and I've barley touched them.

Nemesis was more like Mr. X. If you remember from Operation Raccoon City, the U.S.S. had to get a parasite from a Mr. X model of Tyrant and inject it into Nemesis. So Nemesis is programmed to go after S.T.A.R.S and eliminate them. Nowhere it mentioned Nemesis being human. I always thought it was weird how fast Matt mutated into Nemesis and grew that big too in like the span of what, 24 hours? And yeah, too bad Jill isn't the main character OF THE MOVIE THAT IS BASED ON HER GAME.

At least in Resident Evil 4, they did a good job of Luis being a scientist and explaining the biology behind Las Plagas. There was none of that in RE5. Quite frankly, looking at RE5, it's definitely wanting to be like RE4. I mean the village in the beginning of RE4 is in RE5 for the tribal village. If you look up the pictures, you actually can see a similarity between them. I know exactly which enemy you are talking about and I scream like a little girl when those ones pop. First form? eh. Third form? eh. Second form? *screams while running away* RE4 had great monster designs and frankly, all the games do. They are really unique. Heck the Molded were terrifying in 7.

I never thought I was going to get a switch but when I played Let's Go Eevee with my friend, I fell in love. When I found out that the newest Pokemon game was going to be based in the UK, I was like "TAKE MY MONEY NOW" Also one of my favorite Playstation 2 games was ported to the Switch and I nearly cried, I was so happy.

Alright, so Nemesis in the game was never a human, that's just a film thing. If I remember correctly, isn't that the mission where you first meet the bug head zombies? The whole fast mutation thing is definitely a suspension of disbelief moment, kinda a dumb one as well. Jill just in general deserved more screen time!

Yeah, they definitely did a good job of actually revealing what the Las Plagas was, like you said, unlike RE5. Yeah, they definitely wanted to continue what RE4 did but pushing it into even more into action turned people off. The first one is definitely the easy one, the third can be annoying but the second is easily the worst because of that insta kill ability and the ammo they can take. Yeah, I can't think of any games from the franchise that has bad monster designs!

It might be my favorite console from this generation, it's so convenient!

Yup, was totally just a film thing. Poorly executed obviously because Paul W.S. Anderson never played the games and prefer to have his Mary Sue of a wife hog all the glory. And yuuuuuuuuuuuuup, the headcrab zombies pretty much XD those things were so damn annoying. Not difficult but just really annoying. But yes, Jill needed more screen time, always.

You're pretty much right in that regard of it being more action based than 4. Flash grenades are seriously my best friend when it comes to any plaga. I save up at least a couple of the flash grenades in 4 for the second form of Plaga. If anything, at least every RE game has one or two monsters that are terrifying.

I wasn't keen on getting a switch at first but when I got mine, I'm thinking "wow, this is amazing for a portable console."

The crabhead zombies are such a pain! The crimson heads are also pretty damn annoying, but it was fun making enemies bleed and having them chase them down. Well, Jill's my favorite RE character so I'm probably a little biased there.

The flash grenades are such a lifesaver! Especially if you got like 3 or 5 of them coming at you, just toss one out and jobs done. I don't feel like they're as necessary in RE5 because you just get so much ammo in that game. And, even if you use a lot of ammo, the game will give it all back in the span of 5 minutes! xD

I'm also super sad that the Resistance beta has been delayed on PS4. :(

Sorry for the late reply, man. A lot of stuff went on @.@ but Jill is seriously one of the best characters, hands down. Her and Leon all the way.

It's so satisfying when you manage to take down a lot of plaga with a flash grenade. Stressful then boom, relief. Dude, the amount of ammo you get in RE5 is nuts. Like there are times where you have to sell the ammo. What I find annoying is if you have an infinite ammo weapon and you accidentally pick it up. It's like a force of habit to pick up ammo then later you're like "ah crap wait, I have infinite ammo."

Speaking of the beta, whooooooooooo boy. I played a bit with my friend. It's..... nuts. I feel you would need a full team of four to play it. If you solo or even play with another friend, you can't rely on the others. Do let me know when you want to play though =D

It's fine, life gets in the way sometimes, I understand. Leon's also pretty great, I've always loved his cheesy one liners. Also love Rebecca and Barry.

I loved how stressful RE4 could be witch is something I miss greatly in RE5! I didn't even know there was infinite ammo weapons in RE5, I need to play it more, honestly. It's astounding to think that RE6 gives you EVEN MORE ammo then RE5! Literally around every corner there's more ammo for you. Although, you could make the excuse of you're using more in RE6.

Trust me, it's hard even with a full team. It also sucks that there's NO punishment for DC'ers, ran into a couple playing the beta. I also want dedicated servers and I KNOW Capcom can definitely do them. Other then that, yeah, quite fun, definitely will send a message in due time to play Resistance.
