I need tips for counter play cause all they do is zap every pallet and get free hits

    1. Play doctor yourself

    2. Play many matches against him

    -> profit

    Its hard to give you tips in this matter. You just need to figure out yourself how to loop him and what works/ doesnt work on him. If you encounter a good doctor just ask him after the match what you could have done better. maybe this helps. Or watch streamers/ yt vids to see how others play against him.

    As a new doctor player i would say run calm spirit if you have it so you wont scream and dont rush the hook i like to static blast as soon as i hook to make sure its safe to patrol gens

    Watch how they play is the biggest one.

    Some doctors over zap which will let you get a lot more rounds on a loop because they'll just be zapping you all the time.

    Some will never zap which means you can play the loop normally. Run around it a few times and drop the pallet.

    The ones that only zap perfectly are most dangerous and I play them similar to huntress and just drop pallets early or you're going to get hit. If their aim isn't perfect you can dodge away from the loop to avoid the blast and then run in to drop the pallet. The doctor can't swing instantly after shocking so you do get a very little bit of time.

    Edit: For snapping out of it, if you're having a hard time doing it because of the impossible skill check build (or in general) you can just tap the button over and over and you'll never get a skill check similar to how old ruin was. It takes longer but is guaranteed.

    Get away from his TR as much as you can. Get when he does the Static Blast and time the 60 seconds to be safe in his TR. In doubt, aways enter a locker if in his TR and if you dont know he has a Static Blast ready.

    He is the killer you must avoid the TR the most.

    I go well against him doing that. Usually get no Madness almost the whole match. But sometime he will get me into a chase and them cant avoid the Shocks, most of that in the end game.

    Only problem with this idea is he would need to run Calm Spirit every game because you never know the killer until the match starts. He could end up running Calm Spirit and go against let's say Oni and then it would be kind of pointless maybe. I will say good tip on not rushing saves though. You are right about most Doctors zapping around the hook to see if anyone is close before they leave. =) You sir get an Up Vote! =)

    First Id say go play doc as a killer. He has issues with any survivor that either throws pallets early at loop or understands to bait the shock at a loop (if it’s not an unsafe loop doc can be run like a 110% by baiting shock) I have maimed doc since PS4 release in 2017. He certainly has strengths but I’d highly advise actually playing him to see the limitations
