Dead by Daylight: SUPERNATURAL Edition

  • With the addition of the Stranger Things Chapter having two Survivors and one Killer, another Chapter similar to that one would be amazing.
  • This is just an idea. Take everything with a grain of salt, especially the perks. I'm never good with those.
  • Some people think having another "two Survivors" chapter would be supplying the Survivors with six more perks to counter the Killers in many ways. Again, it's just an idea. It won't ever be in the game, or well, at least I highly doubt it.
  • There's no story yet. I was never good with story writing, so I doubt I will ever add one. If I do though, I will make sure it's as good and detailed as possible.
  • Not many people are a fan of the series. That is very true, it's been going on for fifteen seasons now. At this point the makers are just milking it. But hey, I like the series, so I can't hate on it much.
  • Many things in this thread are still a Work In Progress, so expect unfair perks, grammatical errors and unfinished text.
  • Thank you for reading!

SURVIVOR: Dean Winchester

  • Dean Winchester is a leader-like figure, not putting much thought into things like his brother. His perks, Boomstick, Veteran and Guardian allow him to protect others from the Killer by any means, and slow them down slightly.

Dean Winchester: Teachable Perks

  • Boomstick

You bring your trusty boomstick everywhere you go. Each bullet is filled with salt.

While in a chase, Boomstick activates. While looking back at the Killer during a chase, press the Ability Button (E) to quickly retrieve a boomstick to fire it at the Killer, slowing them down by 100% for 3 seconds.

Salt is very harmful to ghosts and spirits.

The Spirit is slowed down for an additional 2 seconds upon using this perk.

Boomstick has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

“Should’ve just brought the grenade launcher.” - Dean Winchester

  • Veteran

You know a thing or two about monsters and what they do.

During the start of the match, you are revealed what the Killer's ability is for 5 seconds.

Additionally, stunning the Killer with a pallet will stun them for an extra 1/2/3 seconds.

“A bloody, violent monster… And you wanna be friends with him? Nice, Sammy.” - Dean Winchester

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Guardian

When healing a Survivor that is currently in the dying state, you are granted the Endurance status effect and you heal 100% faster.

When or if the Killer successfully hits you with any attack while Guardian is active, you will be Exhausted for 100/80/60 seconds and you will be given the Deep Wound status effect.

If you successfully heal the Survivor from the dying state to the injured state, the Survivor will be granted the Endurance status effect for 5 seconds and you will no longer have the Endurance status effect.

Guardian only activates when inside the Killer’s terror radius and while you are not Exhausted.

“God or no God, you go to Hell!” - Dean Winchester

SURVIVOR: Sam Winchester

  • Sam Winchester is an intelligent hunter. His perks, Resurrection, Special Child and Lockpick allow him to tamper with the Killer's belongings as well as inform his teammates whenever being chased. He is also able to use an otherwordly spell to resurrect a dead teammate.

Sam Winchester: Teachable Perks

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Resurrection

You've brought with yourself a strange spell from another realm.

When within 16 meters of the Killer which is killing a Survivor, Resurrection activates for 40/50/60 seconds and this shows for the deceased Survivor too.

During this time, going up to the deceased Survivor and pressing the Ability Button (E) will perform a 10 second ritual and resurrects the deceased Survivor. The resurrected Survivor will be in the injured state.

Resurrection will deactivate after use for the rest of the trial.

“We’re the guys that save the world.” - Sam Winchester

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Special Child

At some point in your life, you drank demon blood. You are special, in an interesting way.

Increases your chance to be the Killer’s obsession.

Your aura is revealed to all other Survivors at all times.

While you are the obsession, you cannot see the Killer’s aura at all.

While the Killer is chasing you, their aura is revealed to all the other Survivors.

After the chase is over in any way, Special Child persists and the Killer’s aura remains visible for 3/4/5 seconds.

This effect only works on the obsession.

“You don’t know me. You never did, and you never will.” - Sam Winchester

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Lockpick

You are able to sabotage Bear Traps and Reverse Bear Traps from your own or your teammates’ heads under 5 seconds with the Ability Button (E).

Lockpick has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

“If there’s a key, then there has to be a lock.” - Sam Winchester

KILLER: The Werewolf

  • Credit goes to original artist, whoever that may be.
  • The Werewolf is a power hungry Killer, gaining power every time a generator is completed. His perks, Cursed Moonlight, Humble Abode and Sixth Sense allow him to locate his prey at most of the times, slow down escaping and become more hungry .

The Werewolf’s Power: "Under The Moonlight"

  • Each time a generator is repaired, The Werewolf is fueled with power and energy. The Werewolf starts off as a human in regular but ragged clothes, with blackened eyes, same height as any male Survivor, weapon being a Rusty Shiv. During this time The Werewolf is only at 110% speed
  • Tier 1: When 1 generator is completed, the clothes on the arms and legs area on The Werewolf become slightly torn, the muscles look more developed on the arms especially. The Werewolf throws away the Rusty Shiv, as he has slightly developed claws now, which become the main weapon (Dirty Claws). His eyes also have a deep red hint to it with a slight glow. The Werewolf lets out a demonic roar that is heard throughout the realm. The speed is increased to 115% for the remainder of the trial, but gets a speed boost of 10% (125% speed in total) for 30 seconds if The Werewolf is not in a chase. Hitting a healthy survivor during the speed boost inflicts the Deep Wound status effect.
  • Tier 2: When 2 generators are repaired, The Werewolf lets out a more aggressive roar and becomes taller than the average male Survivor, FOV is increased by 5% and gets a speed boost of 10% for 30 seconds, this time it also happens if The Werewolf is in a chase. The speed boost stacks up if 2 generators are repaired under 30 seconds (making it a total of 135% speed boost, for 30 seconds.). Putting an injured survivor into the dying state will cause the speed boost to disappear, unless up to 2 generators have been repaired under 30 seconds. Hitting a healthy survivor during the speed boost inflicts the Deep Wound status effect. The appearance of The Werewolf also changes, clothes even more ripped and claws even bigger, starting to look more like an animal, but also like a deformed human.
  • Passive Ability: When in Tier 2, hitting a pallet with a basic attack will destroy it. This Passive Ability moves on to the other tiers.
  • Tier 3: When 3 generators are repaired, The Werewolf lets out another roar as before, does not change in height but does change in appearance, looking more like a buffed wolf on it’s two legs now, wearing clothes. FOV remains the same as in Tier 2, and The Werewolf gets yet another speed boost of 10% for 30 seconds. The speed boost stacks up if 3 generators are repaired under 30 seconds (making it a total of 145% speed boost, for 30 seconds.). Putting an injured survivor into the dying state will cause the speed boost to disappear, unless up to 3 generators have been repaired under 30 seconds. Hitting a healthy survivor during the speed boost inflicts the Deep Wound status effect.
  • Tier 4: When 4 generators are repaired, The Werewolf lets out yet another roar as before, does not change in height but does change in appearance, looking like a fully fledged werewolf now. The Werewolf gets yet another speed boost of 10% for 30 seconds. The speed boost stacks up if 4 generators are somehow repaired under 30 seconds. (making it a total of 155% speed boost, for 30 seconds.). Putting an injured survivor into the dying state will cause the speed boost to disappear, unless up to 4 generators have been repaired under 30 seconds. In Tier 4, the cooldown on attacks are reduced by 1 second. Hitting a healthy survivor during the speed boost inflicts the Deep Wound status effect.
  • Tier 5: When all generators are repaired, The Werewolf stops in place and lets out a howl, not changing in appearance. After the howl, The Werewolf gets a speed boost of 20% for 20 seconds. Putting an injured survivor into the dying state will not cause the speed boost to disappear this time around by all means, and the cooldown on attacks is reduced by 2 seconds.
  • Passive Ability: When in Tier 5, injured survivors are affected by the Pressured status effect. The proper location of the terror radius of The Werewolf cannot be determined and all survivors hear the minimum terror radius sound at all times.

The Werewolf: Teachable Perks

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Cursed Moonlight

The light of the moon shines down upon your prey.

After the last generator has been repaired, Cursed Moonlight activates.

The survivors' speed of cleansing totems and opening Exit Gates is reduced by 10/15/20%.

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Humble Abode

The basement is your real home.

After hooking 2 survivors in the basement, Humble Abode activates for 40/50/60 seconds.

While Humble Abode is active, gain a 5% movement speed bonus.

[[[[[[ Icon TBA ]]]]]]

  • Sixth Sense

The fall of your prey fuels you with agitation, making you carve for more.

Every time you hit a survivor with a basic attack, you gain a token. You can gain up to 2/4/6 tokens.

By pressing the Activate Ability Button (E), Sixth Sense will consume 2 tokens to play a noise and reveal a random uninjured survivor for 5 seconds. Sixth Sense can reveal survivors inside lockers. The revealed survivor is notified when revealed.

Sixth Sense has a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Additionally, scratch marks will be slightly more visible, stay visible for longer and no longer appear on walls and objects.

I have made so many posts about a supernatural chapter/paragraph. I want one so freaking bad

A lot of these perks would not work, and the killer needs to be more specific to the series. I think Dean would work better personality-wise, and that the chapter could work, but it wouldn't be a first pick in any way. These perks need to be reworked of yours the most, in my opinion:

    • Boomstick - Not only should a survivor not be carrying a weapon in general, but it's an unfair perk that can easily be renewed. It's literally a portable Decisive Strike with no boundaries other than the cooldown. Not only that, but although I like your logic, doing extra penalties to a specific killer is unfair.
    • Veteran - Revealing what the killer ability is would just be weird on the UI in my opinion, not only that, but why not make it an aura reading perk at that point? What's it doing, quizzing your knowledge? Not only that, but at the max tier of stunning for an extra 3 seconds... that's nuts. This and Boomstick being used in a SWF would be incredibly toxic, and just in general without SWF. Running this with DS or Boomstick is just sh*t.
    • Resurrection - I think you forgot that people typically leave the end-match lobby once they've died. Not only that, but this is incredibly unfair to the killer. It literally just undos an entire 1/4 of the killer's objective.
    • Lockpick - Not only would this be super useless because it only applies to bear traps, but Reverse Bear Traps being able to be removed? No f*cking way. That is literally disabling someone's power, and they can't even be removed by another person!

Not only that, but the killer power being reliant on generators and not able to be controlled by the killer is bad. I did a werewolf chapter idea as well (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/139470/werewolf-chapter-idea-images-included#latest - shameless self promotion). It doesn't mean that you have to use the active ability button or it has to be able to be toggled by a single button, but if this were only triggered by generators, it would be super slow and dull in the early stages and feel restraining. This would be a killer that is not usually played in red ranks, or any ranks for that matter due to how the ability is strengthened. For an ability to actually work, you need the killer to have some sort of control over it without it randomly activating/upgrading. Your goal as a killer is to make sure the generators aren't finished, and doing that job and then not gaining any power or ability leverage is just odd.

Supernatural in DBD? No. As someone who is a fan of the show, I just don't think it would really work. First, we shouldn't do another 2 survivor and 1 killer chapter. Second, Supernatural is a good show, but it's like picking the best ideas out of a worst ideas bin. The chapter based on everything you just listed? No.

Overall, I get that it's an idea, but Supernatural does not need to be in DBD. I absolutely love the effort you put into this so far, but a ton of things need to change for the actual concept. You should totally work on it some more because I feel like you can make this look really nice.

First off, thank you very much for your honest response! About your post, I've seen it several times and I read it a couple of times as well. I really love your concept and it would be great if BHVR added a community-made chapter, because some people just put loads of work into them and some get a lot of support.

About the perks, I did mention that I will be very bad at that part, so I hope you were at least prepared mentally before you read them. Lockpick was made a useless perk on purpose, because not many people pick Trapper or Pig. There are perks that are useless and only apply to a single Killer, for example Slippery Meat, which gives you more chance to escape from the hook or bear traps, but it's still pretty useless.

I tried to be as creative as possible with the perks and the Killer's ability, but I really appreciate your honest feedback!

I might not have much time to fix all the issues, but I will try to make everything better whenever I can. Lately I've been busy. I pretty much rushed all the ideas anyway.

I love Supernatural that is why I suggested it. Maybe don't make it 2 survivors and 1 killer, you could just pick some side character. Maybe Castiel, but he lost his angel powers?

I mean if Stranger Things got to have a place in dbd then why not Supernatural? if anything I think it fits better than ST. There are so many monsters/characters they can choose from. I'd seriously love to see it as a chapter.
