Distressing needs its numbers looked at...
Distressing rank 1, increases the TR by 22% (approx increase of 7 metres on a 32 metre Heartbeat.)
Distressing rank 3, increases the TR by 26% (approx increase of 8 metres on a 32 metre Heartbeat.)
Does this seem okay? The bloodpoint rewards are 100% at all tiers, but what is the point of leveling this perk? Personally, I think it's percentage values should just be a flat number buff. For example, Distressing could increase the TR by 6/8/10 metres in accordance to it's tier. Or make it similar to M&A, Have it at a flat amount of 8 metres, but the bonus bloodpoints in the Deviousness category is what increases. So like 50%/75%/100%.

Distressing is really only useful for a couple killers, most notably the Doctor on some of his builds.
This is also not the only perk that has a quirk with leveling up, Discordance for example is more useful at rank 1 than rank 3.
Honestly it's just not a big priority.

Distressing is a perk that's good with only a single killer, and all the terror radius perks, Which rarely get used other than for memeing.
I'm honestly concerned for you if you're getting concerned at a perk that almost always give survivors an EARLY WARNING to the killer.
Also... The INCREASED BLOODPOINTS need a change..? It increases the number of bloodpoints you obtain, how is that warranting of a change?

Giving too much warning is just as good as no warning at all. They give the same effect in the end in allowing the Killer to hide.
Low TR builds are obvious to how it works. Little to no warning means you are likely to get that much closer before a Survivor reacts to you. But they will become conditioned to react that much better/faster. Always on the lookout, never waiting to run, Survivors quickly learn to pay attention.
Big TR builds works by giving too much warning and conditioning Survivors to ignore the TR. This limits a Survivor's ability to react to anything without seeing it. If they react to the bigger TR, they waste time. If they ignore the TR, the Killer gets closer than normal.
Loud stealth is very much a thing.
Take Shape for example. Distressing works on a Shape rather well. EW1 and EW2 will be weaker (but still have rather small TRs) but when you reach EW3 Shape will have a MASSIVE TR. No Survivor should be able to judge where you are by TR alone anymore. Everyone will start to panic as Shape could be anywhere.
Billy is another example. Too much warning means people ignore it. Allowing Billy to snipe with his chainsaw. Demogorgon as well makes use of too much information. Wraith is decent for going from too much to too little warning and back.
Stealth is still stealth if you hide in either silence or chaos.

I can definitely see this side, as I see the same thing happen when I run Iridescent Button on Legion (For those that don't know, it makes your terror radius effect the entire map) and you can definitely see Survivors start to ignore Terror Radius when it's going off all game.
It's kind of like that scene in Bad Boys 2 where they throw the cats and iguanas over the wall of Tapia's compound, making the motion sensors go off so many times they eventually just shut them off, making their assault a lot easier to pull off.
It certainly wouldn't work in every situation, but it certainly isn't an unheard of idea.
The biggest issue with distressing is there isn't a whole lot to work with, the larger TR and blood point gain is all you end up with, it could still be useful to spook survivors off generators though.
Of course this doesn't work against any level of comms or coordination, as they will call out who the killer is chasing and the other survivors will stay on gens terror radius or no.

I played the new doc for the 1st time over the weekend. Sadly, this perk didn't appear once thru 35 bloodwebs. I purchased unnerving presence from the shrine and did find tier 1 of that.
Look forward to trying it. Doc was fun. Nice to hear that this perk is probably best off left at tier 1.

I get that it's a very niche perk, but how can a 1metre increase between tiers be okay?! I'm not concerned, I'm just giving facts about something that needs to be looked into. Drop the attitude, it's not a cute look.

I know they were looking into perks to reduce the gap between tiers, and this already does that. The numbers are weird, but eh, then you don't need to get it to tier 3 for the perk to be actually helpful like a lot of others.

Maybe it's time to ditch tiers all together. It'd reduce the everlasting grind. I have almost 2k hours, and only 4 survivors and 6 killers prestige 3. Rest are just lvl 50
