Let's list interesting things we can add to Clown! You can either say as a rework to the Afterpiece Tonic, with the Afterpiece Tonic, etc. Overall, ability ideas!


  1. Locker Traps - The Clown will have the Afterpiece Tonic and Spring Hammers. Spring Hammers can be placed in a maximum of 5 lockers, and upon a survivor opening one, a mallet will spring out, knock them away, and cause the Survivor to lose a health state. A notification is given to the killer whenever a trapped locker is active. After the trapped locker is used, the Spring Hammer will no longer be in there and the locker will be able to be used by survivors. A goofy bonk sound effect will play when the survivor is hit. Spring Hammers are not able to be reused or retrieved, so only 5 can be used per match.

    Another idea for a new clown active ability, one to hopefully apply more map/gen pressure.

    Something like 'Jack-in-the-box'. 'Place a trap on a Gen,Totem or Chest, Any interaction with either will spring the Jack-in-the-box which causes the survivor to scream and reveal their aura for 5 seconds, they also gain the oblivious status for 30 seconds.' 4 Charges,1 replenished after it triggers after 45 seconds.

    New addons for this could be, springing the trap on a Generator causes the generator to emit your tonic for 10 seconds, springing the trap on a totem causes that totem to be invulnerable for 15 seconds, springing the trap on a chest consumes the chest item.

    Slight buff to his tonic throw too, making a direct hit on a survivor with a bottle, prevents interactions for 2 seconds and refunds 1 bottle.

    I've heard this neat idea somewhere, sorry i can't remember for credit but it was something like

    The Clown can paint on the front of lockers to mark them, allowing him to later do something like throw a bottle of gas at his feet/pop a balloon above his head and vanish, teleporting to a selected, marked locker.

    Transform the gas into a laughing gas (nitrous oxide) with effects similar to the madness of the Doctor but with fits of laughter each time a dramatic event happens to the survivors (death, hooking) and other malus.
