My apologies man but they gutted my beloved nurse into depressing mode,why would a bs broken addon still be out there?A good Huntress is competitive enough without this addon.
People complain about Billy,at least there is counterplay with him.Iri Huntress?Try looping a window,i dare u to do it vs a good one.Fake it?Huntress with enough hours fall for that?

Ok man.How about the devs add an ultra rare addon that u can have infinite corrupt purge on Plague from the get go for the remaining of the trial?Surely if u are dieing to this it's your performance not the addon's fault.Which btw,it's a ton easier to dodge purge than hatchets.How's that?

Huntress' AddOn rework is a one of these things on a long list of stuff which are due for a change. I remember, when Devs released Clown and mentioned that they learned from Iridescent Heads, when they designed his Pinky Finger AddOn.
But we will have to be patient, because they will probably work on other things first.

@elvangulley If you think good looping just consists of dropping pallets, I have nothing to say to you. Good looping actually doesn't need to drop a pallet in most cases.
@ThisGuuy83 And If you think the iri head is the Huntress' only viable way to stay competitive, you pretty much can't play her. Good Huntress is like pre rework Nurse. Doesn't need addons

Little bit of a difference there as plague can sweep the entire area by spinning in circles, does not have to reload, depending on the map that locker may be half a mile away, and plague also moves at 115.
No i don't think plague should have infinite power. No i don't use iri heads. No i don't find anything wrong with them. If anything, i enjoy going against them because it pushes me to get better.

Didn't say that, but if you get matched with a red rank SWF team(which the chances are pretty good) , good luck without them, ESPECIALLY on ps4... That's where I play, and iri heads ARE needed there. Landing a hatchet is a quite more challenging then it is on PC.

Nobody takes Iri head alone though. It’s always combined with infantry belt with means Huntress gets 3.
It definitely needs to go. Combine it with ebony mori and NOED and you can’t lose.

yeah, well. Then this is an important information. But I guess they wouldn't bring back old nurse with auto aim just because it is hard to handle her on console. And when the chances to get 4 man red ranks, then just because red ranks are full of potatos right now, so not such a big argument. And SWF doesn't affect your aim. Huntress still has snowball and crossmap potential. She is not at all relying on Iri heads

What is with this obsession with killers being superior?
it should be based on skill, one side does not need to be inherently stronger or given tools to make the game stacked in their favor, Iri heads are a joke in game design, and before you say I’m a survivor main, I play both at reds where I main huntress.
I refuse to use Iri head as it’s designed as a replacement for skilled shots and rewards nothing

The difference is console vs PC, and I play on console where you get matched w red rank sWFs running coms and the best of everything. accuracy is VERY different and much more challenging on ps4, and the iri heads are the ONLY thing slowing them down.

How does iri head require no skill you still have to make the hit and you get no auto aim or cross hair just like regular regular axe its getting old seeing survivors crying for every killer to be a boring 2 hit killer your not entitled to 3 hooks and a hook rotation

alright so here is my opinion as someone who play both sides equally.
The Iridescent Head is probably the best ultra rare killer addon. And as a old character i guess it's time for it to be balanced like the newest ones.
For example Clown requires you to directly hit the survivor with the bottle to give them the exposed effect.
Deathslinger requires you to shot from at least 15m out of 18m range to get the exposed effect.

I think a good way to balance the Iridescent Head would be :
- Start with 3 hatchets instead of 1
- Numbers of hatchets cannot be increased
- A shot from less than a 24m is one health state
- A shot from at least 24m is two health state
That way it rewards players who learned how to play her as they will most liekly hit most of their shots from any distance. But also rewards good shots done by new players.

So make a strong killer weaker why cant strong killers and strong killer powers/addons be strong survivor perks require no skill why should killer abilities require all this skill

she is a ranged killer that, assuming you aren’t a Bot, can down survivors across the map. Myself and other Good huntress players know how unfair Iri head is and don’t use it as it’s a terrible experience for survivors and doesn’t require skill in the slightest.

There is counterplay to Iri Head Huntress, loop her around high walls loops so she can't throw over them, drop the pallet early or if Huntress already charged her hatchet, don't drop the pallet and keep looping her, try to put distance between you and her, you can dodge hatchets if she isn't right behind you. You can also abuse buildings where Huntress can't get bloodlust, so they are practically infinites to her. Even Iri Head Huntress will need to abandon these buildings because they can't do anything about it.
While this add-on can be BS sometimes, especially when combined with a Mori, it isn't uncounterable and you can still escape even against Iri Head Huntresses.

Yes,yes and yes u are correct.I think most high ranked people know how to handle huntress,you need to take account though the map and the tiles setup.Shelter woods for instance.

Honestly if iri head only worked outside of a 32-40m radius and didn't lower hatchets I'd be completely ok with it. Getting a god tier shot across the map being rewarded with a high tier add-on? Yes please.
Or having it warp through walls but act as a normal hatchet, allowing you to get some nasty shots if the survivor isn't paying attention. Might be still to powerful, but very outplayable as unless the huntress is relying on perks and add-ons to see through walls (or it's a see through all which is already non issue as you can mindgame back) it would be mostly guess work.
Also give her 1% speed for every missing hatchet under 5. Please

I read it and didnt care i dont even play her just tired of people crying about insta downs and expecting every game to be 2 hits hook then 2 hits hook somebody let us save for free every time and you cant hit or hook me until all my teammates have been hooked killers play against flashlights sabo medkits toolboxes ds bt adrenaline spinechill survivors can play around instadowns besides if the huntress player sucks as bad as you make them out to they wont be hitting with iri heads anyway

Huntress is stronger without Iridescent Heads than she is with them, simply because she has to reload more often.
More time reloading is less time spent patrolling on a Killer that is already slower than most.
I don't object to the add-on being removed (by all means the devs should remove or change it if it's so universally hated), but I don't think it's as busted or innately toxic as everyone seems to think.

I disagree with huntress mains sitting here, cow towing to every opinion about their mains, because like " I'm a rank 1 huntress main, I never needed iri hatchets" good for you, bad bunny, but you don't get to speak for all players of the game. Some people like them as an option and to sit here and say they are the most broken thing in this game that needs nerfing?
I guess I shouldn't care since I don't even play her anymore and have much more fun playing Death slinger, but I think the game will live if iri hatchets aren't touched. There are annoying scenarios we have to deal with on both sides, but there are ways to adapt to huntress playing this way. Not to mention some of your suggestions are just ridiculous in the first place. 40 meters? You might as well delete the add on because you won't see that scenario in 2/3rds of the map, and it basically be a handicap to run.

Chances are high that if you verse a huntress with iri heads shes bad.
Ofc the combo heads and belt is pretty strong, but not that overpowered like many call it to be.
I just wonder why every strong item, addon or perk needs to be nerfed. Nerf keys, mori, exhaustion perk, iri head, freddy, etc.....
Jeez people are never satisfied...
