Disconnected by the game

I'd like to inform that just a few moments before writting this, I got disconnected from a match and lost the item I had alongside the bloodpoints I had gathered, apart from being applied with the disconnect penalty even though I didn't meant to disconnect but got disconnected by an error or something external to me. I was about to complete that challenge but I don't know if the killer disconnected or something else but, the point is, I didn't want to disconnect but an error took me out of the game as if I had done so and got punished for it.

    This happened to me too, only I'm getting a one hour penalty for something caused by the servers and not me. It wasn't even my internet this time because I didn't have to reconnect and I was still able to look up stuff online. Now I have to quit for the rest of the day.

    This seriously needs to be fixed, otherwise players who get DCd by the game creating an error or something will probably get confused by the people who disconnect for the most common reasons.

    it just happened to me too.. man.. its insane, is not my connection, when it happens it freezes, and then disconnect... then when i see the scoreboard, me and the killer are DC, and the game seems finished... but is not. it happened when i started to play this game, and still happening i dont know what it is, the game works properly until it freezes and dc.. its starting to be annoying since they add a stack of time to wait, and im getting too much time because it happening more and more often...

    still dont quite understand the DC ban, since u can ######### in a hook in the first time u're hooked so.. whats the point?, i mean i think 60% of the dc people are just because of errors..

    It happened the exact same to me, and as for the DCs, I've met multiple bad apples whom have Disconnected rather because they got caught by me as the killer, or because the game doesn't load fast enough before the trial starts.

    I get there being a DC ban, but I think it should be capped at one hour.
