DS Skillcheck

why does doctors madness make DS skill checks almost impossible to do? It’s already a difficult skill check why is it even more ridiculous 😂

It almost renders DS unusable 😂

What? Hitting the DS skillcheck is really easy.

Wait can you get reverse DS skillchecks with doc? That's pretty cool.

Yeah you can reverse skill check the DS with doc 😂 I’m sitting there expecting it to go one way and not only did it go backwards it was in a completely different area on my screen and the circle was shaking like it does for normal skill checks. That might be excessive 😂😂😂😂

I disagree because it’s only a one time use anyways. I personally think it should be usable every time you get off the hook because it’s job is to prevent tunneling 🤷‍♂️ That’s what it should do, allow me to keep playing the game when clearly you’re not doing your job as a killer to find other people. That’s the point. It’s 5 gens vs 12 hooks but you just want easy hooks. Nah. Nobody likes to get off the hook and just go right back on it. that person should be able to heal and get back in the game. Using perks like dying light or thanataphobia can do a good job of keeping them all distracted anyways. There’s plenty of ways to encourage you to go for other people so that’s why I believe killers need to be penalized for going after the same guy OVER and OVER and OVER if the survivor brings in a perk to defend himself. Why should killers get ez downs and ez hooks. Just go Chase somebody else? Ya know? The game rewards you for that. So I think DS should be active every time you get off the hook, not just once.

Fine, then the second I hook someone else, your DS de-activates.

Good, glad we've come to a compromise on that (shakes hand).

When you can't hit DS skillcheck even after it was made larger. It's so sad that players like you demand more buffs to extremely powerful perks only because you don't want to gid gut.

Would this be large enough for you to hit or would you still miss ?

    lol I remember this pic.

It's easy enough as it is, and I'm an avid DS user.

Please petition the devs to make the skill check that size, thanks 😎

I’m obviously boosted because I can never hit the DS skill check - literally I’ve never successfully hit it. This despite hitting greats 90% of the time and easily hitting Overcharge or Unnerving Presence skillchecks every time. I’m not sure why I struggle with DS in particular.

Doctor is just a punk ass killer to begin with, that's why. 🤣

nah man, thats like reworking hex totems to their old placements so they are easier to find. One time use perks are supposed to be extremely strong. If DS was multiple use, then sure, make it as hard as possible. But it only works one time, after someone used DS, they no longer have 4 perks. And we all know that losing a perk slot better make that perk strong enough to be worth losing it later on. If DS was too hard that almost no one could use it, then Ebony Mori would require a skill check hard enough that only the skilled people can hit it too.

You’re funny lmao did you even listen to what I said? It’s the DS skill checks that I said are small. but YOU also missed the fact that I said against DOCTOR

It’s sad that killer players ask for constant buffs but don’t want to get good either. They’re given so many short cuts such as ebony Mori’s and almost literally every ability known to man and still complain about can’t kill people Bc of gen speed. Always gen speed. Gen speed has to be fast Bc you can kill ppl so fast. Keys still require survivors to do all gens. Mori’s are crutches. All of your abilities are crutches 😂 I think killer players whine more than anything

Actually I've read it since luckily, there was no one to read it out out otherwise my ears would start bleeding. You've stated that DS skillcheck is hard and Doc makes it much harder. I've told you to gid gud which you obviously don't plan on doing since you're here whining insted of doing skill checks simulators.

DS skillcheck isn't hard and if you miss it you deserve to not get the reward of your low risk high reward perk. God forbid that killer that is designed to make skillchecks harder makes hitting skillchecks actually harder, who would have though, better nerf him just in case.

then there’s NOED. The list goes on and on. Do I really have to list off the 100 million reasons why killer players don’t need to be complaining? Pssshh... I was talking about a tiny one time use skill check . It should be guaranteed. You shouldn’t be tunneling . End of story.

You really need to go play killer and see what DS is like on the other side you say DS is a anti tunnel perk then why is it if you get unhooked and i down and hook someone else then find you working on a gen and down you just to still get hit by your DS? when i clearly didn't tunnel you seeing as you had time to work on a gen or are you going to claim that if i find you in that 1 min window that i tunneled you. You want to know one off the biggest reasons i have come across why people get downed just after they get hooked is because there teammate unhooks them when i'm right there or a few steps away from the hook, sorry but if your teammates are going to unhook you like that then that's on them not me if you get hooked again.

"Why should killers get ez downs and ez hooks. Just go Chase somebody else? Ya know? The game rewards you for that" the game also rewards survivors for a safe rescues but yet so many rush the hook to get the save, so maybe ask your teammates why they are unhooking you when the killer is just walking away and not waiting a few seconds.

If you had any idea about DS you would have some understanding of what some off the player base thinks needs changing to it i.e if you start working on a gen it deactivates as your no longer being tunneled if you have time to work on a gen.

And yet here you are, whining about Doctor. Not only that but you're whining about a skillcheck, one of the easiest things to get good at in this game. lol

    Get Good

I am not saying DS skill check is too hard to hit, I’m saying it’s too hard for it’s one time use ability. I think it should be guaranteed. It takes up a perk slot and it’s a one time use. That would be the game telling you as a killer to go find somebody else. That’s what you should be doing 😂

*by the way - I didn’t mean for this to be an argument. I’m simply pointing it out that I don’t think that’s necessary for doctor to tamper with DS skill checks. DS is a one time use separate skill check just like Brand New Parts.

You're like a broken record, whenever I see you post you always don't forget to mention how skilless and effortless mories are derailing the discussion and how easy killers have it, how about you go and play killer then if they're so OP. You're seething with bias and it's showing. If you put literally any thought behind what you're saying, you would see how ridiculous many things you say sound.

which one is it is it to hard to hit or it's not to hard to hit make up your mind, that's the risk you take when you run perks like that you might not always get to use them in your case it sounds like you can't hit a skill check so you don't get to use your DS. Killers can run perks like devour hope, NOED, Blood Warden and not have the chance to use them if your happy for perks like that to be guaranteed to work then yer you can have your free DS?

Well that's your opinion, beiing 1 time use isn't excuse for making broken perks like during MoM fiasco. That was 1 time use perk also and it was most broken perk ever printed.

Also killers aren't told to do anything. DBD doesn't have clearly stated objective or ways how to "correctly" achieve it besides killing survivors for killer and survivors leaving the trial which end the match both by any means necessary. There is no correct way to play, only players themself define what are their personal victories and adjusting their gameplay towards reaching them. Piping is more of incentive and not real objective as it many times mark skillful actions and bad and unskillful/dumb as good. I would call it more of farming system then a ranking system since that what it encourages.

Devs as of late are slowly increasing consistency of many things in DBD so I don't see DS or BNP beiing excluded from beiing affected by Doc in any near future.
